I am extremely frustrated that I have to post this issue on the English forum, mainly because I know nobody in my region actually reads the official forums.
I live in Taiwan and play on the Asia region. Ever since last week, whenever it hits 8:00 PM, connecting to the TPE1 server results in a 25–30% packet loss rate, making the game completely unplayable! What on earth is going on? I checked Taiwan’s local forums and found out I am not the only one facing this issue. What am I supposed to do so I can play the game normally again?
I may be wrong, but I think they don’t offer tech support for network related issues.
Now, this is going to be an extremelly long shot, as I’m from the other side of the world, and this happened on another game.. But maybe?
A friend of mine was having a similar issue on Rivals. It turned out to be an ISP problem. Nothing he could do. (and this was with one of the biggest ISPs of the country).
The “solution” was to install Cloudflare WARP, and enable/disable it each time he died during a match.
Silly and annoying, but it worked.
CWARP did change his PC DNS server to a specific one, even when the program was closed, and that gave him issues on another game. He had to unninstall CWARP later because of that.
