got the notification that I received the drop, “type a message to thank the streamer” etc, then the timer disappeared and it now shows on my “claimed” page of twitch drops :

since so many people claimed it, the bots that reward you the game (I assume its bots) are being overflooded by so many drop claims, people are randomly getting their reward of the beta so only way is to wait for yours.

I disconnected my twitch and blizzard from both sides, then reconnected. Before, “twitch interactive” didn’t show in my authorized apps, but it does now. Maybe its progress? Still waiting for OW2 tho…
i “claimed” my beta access a couple of hours ago. still don’t have it. 2 of my friends claimed it about 15 minutes ago, they are already playing it, i’m watching them stream it via discord.
when i saw that 1 million people were watching OW streams, i knew right away that this was going to be a s**t show. there is no way that a company as worthless as activision/blizzard was going to make this work right. this is the same company that destroyed warcraft 3 by “remastering” it and told people to play diablo on their phones.

my uncle works for home depot and you can literally just buy all kinds of doors there…big ones, small ones, etc. it’s crazy
I also “Claimed” my beta key but mine was 4 hours ago and my friend who was a minute ahead of me has been playing for 3 and a half hours already kinda sad I’ve been waiting for this game for almost 4 hours and tried everything to fix it. Just disappointed…

Yeah, I’ve been having a pretty similar issue to everyone else. I claimed my drop over an hour ago but OW2 Tech beta doesn’t appear in my Overwatch game versions. My friend was able to pre-install OW2 Tech beta before he had even finished his 4 hour watch-time for the drop. Very confused to how this twitch drop system works. Trying to remain patient, hopefully everyone who’s having the same issue gains access soon <3 wishing yall luck.
clamed the twitch drop bout 4 hours ago now did all the things blizzard said to do all I can do is wait now, hoping by tomorrow everyone who claimed the twitch drop can play
Just an update, I finally have the Overwatch 2 BETA showing on my Blizzard launcher under the Overwatch tab (versions).
Not sure if this was just me or not, but for some reason, under my blizzard account (on the website) it did not show my Blizzard account as LINKED to my Twitch ,but on Twitch it did show it. It was really weird because I have been claiming the twitch drops (for boxes) and I even did it yesterday for the 2 legendary boxes and they went through as well.
So basically just checked the settings/connected accounts in my blizzard account settings, clicked “connect” and it retrieved/reconnected my blizzard to my Twitch. and now an hour later it shows up
