Didn’t they say “Instead he has a brand new ability bound to alternate fire” then immediately after that explains and shows off that orb thingy.
[pinches forehead in frustration] the… why did you rework him this way? The whole point was Bastion in his current form is tricky to tune.
They’re re-treading old ground of having high damage reduction when they did that in 2017 and it was considered a big mistake back then.
Unless the fire rate is buffed right back to where it was before then it’s a direct downgrade in every close range fight which are going to be easy to force on Bastion.
Well he doesn’t 
He has bolts and physical weapons. He has armour not shields.
My main issue is it seems to be an “energy orb” just so that it can bounce and have a delayed detonation which is just… worse… than if it was a rocket or grenade that detonated on impact.
Those banked shots off walls are total dumb luck, you have nothing to aim at. You cannot reliably hit anything.
