Tracer OP Tracer still OP AND TRACER STILL OP

Tracer isn’t OP, she’s BALANCED

If you pay attention to patch notes at all, you’d see that the only times the devs did anything to Tracer is when it affects everyone. I’ve spent time both playing as Tracer and playing against a Tracer, and while if you’re against a good Tracer, it can seem like she’s overpowered. BUT if you’re against one that isn’t good, all she becomes is (as best said by Widowmaker) “an annoyance”

But like I said, ive also spent a good amount of time playing as Tracer and while she is balanced, she also has a low skill floor but a really high skill ceiling, she’s the mascot of the game so obviously she’s designed in a way where anyone could play her and quickly learn how to be effective, yet someone who really enjoys playing her isn’t like “ok, well after X amount of hours, I’ve finally learned every little quirk about this one character” because she not only requires good aim and positioning like any other character, she also requires game-sense, ability management, and communication among other things to be really good.

So to everyone saying “Tracer’s OP and needs a nerf!” She’s not OP, she’s BALANCED I will admit that her primary counters do take a lot of skill to play and I do think that she needs some more accessible counters, but I don’t think she needs a nerf. Maybe hero 28 could be a defense character with a tethering ability that would limit mobility for a short period of time, so that a Tracer couldn’t be careless and rush immediately to the back lines to harass the supports because she’d have to be aware of any tethers to stop her and(if the team was communicating) pick her off
