Yep. She got a lot of her voicelines replaced.
She says, “Too Spicy for you?” When she kills you.
Also she sometimes says, “hard-countered.”
Oh and sometimes… “Your just feeding.”

Tracer seems her usual self to me. Mercy on the other hand…Yeah, new lines feel like a total personality change and does not fit with her established character.

Tracer’s fit her well. She’s quirky, chatty, bubbly, and the new voice lines couldn’t portray that more.
I haven’t heard mercy’s new ones yet though.

Moira apparently just sounds like some cartoony evil villain caricatyre, Mercy sounds like e-girl and Orisa tries to channel her inner robocop.
Idk who even wrote some of those lines or who was in charge of making these voicelines, but the direction and lines given to these voice actors seem very much off.
They will need to re-record just about every single new voiceline because they neither fit the personality of the character and aren’t consistent with the voices of the characters.
But hey, OW2 beta pvp edition is just as rushed as expected. It’s OW1 with less players and new paint job, aside from couple new characters and maps.

So they just fully embraced all the cartoony stereotypes they had for these characters then?
What is that supposed to mean for lore aspects when they are inconsistent with the character personalities we’ve established so far? Is PVE not going to be about new omnic crisis anymore but something PG rated?

Mercy’s voice lines make me laugh. She seems like she’s actually enjoying battle too much this time, like she needs to take some time off and see a shrink.
I’m a smidge worried for her, too. She does know this isn’t a game, right?
Sorta, actually. The heroes seem like they’re having fun and saying mildly cartoony lines sometimes while the villains seem about how you’d expect. I don’t think Moira sounds too much like a cartoony villain from what I’ve heard. She just seems more irritated.
