Arguably, Genji and Tracer are just as equally brain deadā¦
considering they rely on burst damage and donāt like to be in fights for too long, using every button mash they can think of to get away or kill their target
Wouldnāt mind them buffing the tracer pulse bomb, they nerfed that too hardu. Only good value you get from it is when you have a Zarya grav or the one you throw it on panics and misplay by going close to a teammate (or a teammate unaware and go close to the one stickied).
I donāt mind it having low damage, 300 to be precise or that itās harder to execute compared to most other ultis but it should do something more. Just feels extremely underpowered that your ulti does less than landing a really good one-clip.
McCree was only really bad because of the dive meta, this didnāt stop him from getting buffs, despite the fact heās always been perfectly fine in deathball comps (Excluding GOATS, for obvious reasons)
Only salty silvers or gullible golds believe that Tracer needs to be given anything other than buffs at this point. She has, contrary to popular belief, been given constant and non-stop indirect small but incremental nerfs since release. Lots of them to do with her relative power against certain heroes, as well as increased survivability and the power creep of healing in the game to the point weāre up to now.
The only reason she is perceived as being strong is that in any 1v1 matchup where the Tracer player has more mechanical prowess than her opponent, sheāll almost certainly win out. Other than that, in an apples to apples skill matchup, she is at parity, and in a team engagement she is almost useless unless the Tracer player manages to play at a level so far above the enemy team that she can realise some kind of value.
