Anyone who seriously believes free stats isn’t either completely broken hasn’t played against decent players that can actually aim and use them.

This is because the Torb rework was just released, and people want to try his new kit out. This does not make him broken.

I doubt anyone could charge an ult that fast.

No, I think the Mercy rework was definitely a lot worse. The new torbjorn is the best rework Blizzard have done yet.

Their kits are completely different. That’s like trying to say widow is OP because if hanzo was hitscan he’d be broken. Come up with an argument by telling us about the character, not how a different character would be awful to fight if they had a variation on someone elses ability.

The torb changes make the game feel incredibly cheap, the comps that everyone is picking feel like throw comps and honestly play like them too, besides mercy getting GOD DAMN a bullet to the head this is the worst change

I’ve seen him quite a bit in my QP matches too and I don’t think he’s OP. Hasn’t really been a major issue and I can’t recall any games where flat out carried his whole team by himself. Only thing that’s annoying is his Overload saving him when he’s low and he gets you but that’s no different to a Hanzo using storm arrow on you or Ana sleeping you :man_shrugging:

Do you seriously believe he should get all of the free stats that he should get? Name another hero that has anything remotely similar to his overload but without any drawbacks. It literally makes him a better hero than most DPS.

Every 17 seconds for 5 seconds he goes from a 200 HP mediocre but not bad damage hero to a 350 with 150 of that being armor hero with a 30% increased rate of fire and a 30% reload time decrease. I don’t know how anyone is trying to argue those are acceptable numbers. They could lower the armor to 50 and remove the movement speed and it would still be good. (didn’t include movement speed because I don’t see it specified but it’s pretty obnoxious around chokes)

Torb is in a really weird spot right now. He is insanely strong against everything except snipers. 100% overtuned, and people probably will not like the meta that settles after the dust begins to clear. Turns out that buffing every aspect of a characters kit and then saying it was a rework usually makes overpowered heroes.

Heroes like sym bastion torb , doomfist, etc cant be viable because people whine whine whine whine until they get nerfed back to f tier

Such is the curse of this community, we deal with reworks, having to re-learn our heroes again in the hopes their better just to see them back to square 1 due to unstoppeable whining

When one hero being viable makes many other heroes unviable yes we are going to complain.

I am a widow main and you didn’t hear me complaining about widow being nerfed 5 times, she certainly needed it to make other heroes viable.
