Torb buff make no sense

250 HP heroes Excel in the frontline where they mostly doing their job.

Torb isn’t a frontline hero he mostly in the backline where he can set his turret.

Yes i know about his critbox but they could just reduce it to the size of normal 200 hp, giving him flat 250 hp when he doing his job in safe unreasonable.

And even worse he still has his big crit box which mean any hero could farm ult charge by shooting his hard-to-miss critbox.

torb is very effective on the front line using overload and his alt fire. A good torb plays backline and frontline

This, And torb is a huge tank buster on the front line if he’s ignored.

They just should’ve reduced this. It’s not normal that he’s easier to headshot than most tanks.

Now Pharah on the other hand, she needs 250 hp.

250HP is generally reserved for DPS with a bigger hitbox and/or no good movement abilities.

Reaper - big hitbox, mediocre movement ability
Mei - pretty big hitbox, no real movement ability
Bastion - very big hitbox, no movement ability (technically 300HP as opposed to 250 but the reason for it is the same)
Doomfist - massive hitbox, great mobility but only effective in melee range
Torbjörn - big hitbox, bad movement ability (in terms of not letting him escape most situations)

Torbjörn fits right in imo

No they shouldn’t. His beast mode skill is UP as it is. And they did reduce his crit box but it was to overpowering with his beast mode skill. So they reverted his headshot crit back to what it was originally.

Ok for the last time. Torb has to set up his turret and then do frontline damage. His rivet gun does loads of damage if he lands his shots. He can destroy and redeploy turret anywhere he wants at will if it gets damaged or he wants to change its spot. Sticking with the turret to hammer it is a bad strategy because it doesn’t do good damage. That is not how he functions anymore.

It does the same damage it did before, but the reason why it’s no longer a viable tactic for torb, is because they nerfed the turrets health pool.

It’s cheaper and more tactically sound for torb to just not care about the turret and play aggressively with his weapon.

And only repair the turret when there are lull’s in action as it permits.

Torb had no choice but to stick with his turret because it was better than his gun and he had no survavability on the frontline. Now he has a much better gun and overload to bail him out of trouble. Turret no longer needs constant attention, it’s a throwaway ability you toss out. It also doesn’t have level 3 anymore which was the half if not the entire reason to keep it up for when you ulted.

And what about something in between? Somehow I doubt that a 20% reduction of his critbox for example suddenly makes him OP. In essence, giving him 50 more HP or making it less likely to receive headshots has the same result with the exception of those handful of heroes that can’t headshot.

Dwarves are hardy creatures, it makes sense.

As a 400+ hour sombra main, I assure you it was brokenly OP.

Now ask the widows, and hanzo’s how hard it was to hit.
