Thx for answering, I find it weird that you think shatter is easy to use tho.
It’s easy to use if your opponents are potatoes
Suzu is dropped on the floor and it does it thing
Shatter on the other hand needs a lot more coordination and being aware of shields and other interrupts
Yep, shatter is harder than suzu by a long shot
So you know know shields and other interuptions can also counter suzu right?
Deflect, DM, Grasp can all stop it, and shields can also block the effect, and it can also be body blocked.
Like im not really trying to debate on what is harder or easier, but you still need to be aware when using suzu.
Since he plays at GM lvl, people here know “how to play”, so that’s why I said that.
Even LhCloudy hasn’t that much of impactful shatters…
Maybe he’s going to explain now why cloudy is trash and can’t hit his free win button
It can, but the difference is that you anticipate Shatter and can react in advanced while Suzu is basically instant.
The cast time of sleep dart even feels longer than Suzu
You litteraly had to compare these abilities to an ult to make it fair lmao
Ironically, I see this is the most from the DPS cast.
That’s part of what makes Overwatch fun though. It’s dynamic, and not every dual has to end in life or death.
The game is not about getting eliminations. The game is fundamentally about space. Recognizing advantageous space and working to claim/defend it using your abilities and if possible eliminations.
Of course it’s not pragmatic, but you could technically win a game with zero eliminations.
My mate did that one the other day. Again. While it’s difficult, yeah, it ain’t as impossible as Reaper’s Pixel, Queenies Pixel (you gotta go a tank, do ult, swap Queenie, get seven consecutive bleeds), Zen’s pixel, Bap’s Cute, McREEE’s pixel…
One time on Colosseo, I used my concussion mine on a Reinhardt just as he ulted, and he Shattered in midair and fell off the map.
I felt so good about that
Its pointless mate, the fact that in the first quote he literally says they take the same skill and then replies like he didnt, proves that he will never admit it.
IDK how much clear can a problem be.
You are punching the air at this point mate, sorry but you are INSANELY out of your depth when it comes to game balance discussions. We are done here
Shields? Mate you dont throw suzu at the enemy, you throw it to the ally.
Also she has literally a TP with half the suzu CD to TP+Aim at the ground+Suzu.
Lets not pretend that using DM/Grasp/Deflect to do that doesn’t require 5x the skill AND timing to deny the play … and I know you said you are not trying to debate that, but that is literally the whole point lol.
Immortalities should NOT exist in a game, specially those with no trade offs.
It is so easy to deny a dragon blade, vizior or anything dmg related rly. Not to mention they are mostly ultimates. Suzu and grip are hardly complex or difficult. You press a button and they have low CDs. Comparatively. Which allows people too make mistakes, but get saved continuously. Which is kinda obnoxious, and makes one shots mandatory for value.
Why do you think we got 20% heal reduction back? Coz recovery is too easy. Reducing immunities and nerfing healing would prolly be more widely accepted due to overall dps hate and have the same proper effects. Healing creep and sustain with immos should be reduced.
Well it literally is just a case of timing when the enemy shield is down. As with any ult, timing is important.
It has a massive hitbox which makes it pretty hard to miss an enemy, and that’s about all there is to it.
Shatter does not need coordination at all.
Like I already said, using suzu to counter shatter requires pretty much the same skill. However using suzu in general requires a lot more. You have to time it perfectly to save teammates, just like lifegrip. You either time those abilities perfectly and prevent a death, or you don’t.
Shatter does not require perfect timing to get value from. Even hitting 1 or 2 enemies with shatter still provides value and can easily lead to a team fight win. In other words, one requires reaction speeds, the other requires pressing Q.
And you literally can’t read. If you aren’t willing to read the whole conversation which would have prevented you from making this dumb comment in the first place, then don’t enter yourself into it.
Once again. You have selective reading. Did you miss the part where in the SAME POST I followed up with -
"Tell me how a Rein shatter is harder to hit than Kiriko’s suzu or LW’s pull? You just press Q to win.
Or how hard it is to hold down LMB while you swing your dragonblade sword at an enemy?
Hardly any ability in this game is actually hard."
Did you miss that? Once again you’re embarrassing yourself. Tell me how that entire post is the same as saying “nah they require the same amount of skill, trust me bro”. I will be waiting.
“We are done here” translates to I need to leave before I get proven wrong again.
You have also yet to respond to 99% of my last comment, but I don’t suppose you will?
this is just not true though. pretty much every dps has higher damage or at least more consistent damage.
the vast majority of dps have mobility and/or escape abilities.
oh my god. dps has literally never been easier. the entire projectile buff was based around you guys crying that you cant hit any of your shots. hitscan and flankers are as broken as they have ever been.
it doesnt take much effort to go and look at that guys whole comment and realise that is not what they said
no one would ever try to deflect a suzu. that doesnt mean the abilities arent just as easy.
but abiltiies that block all front facing damage are fine? meaning only those with the mobility to go around them can actually deal damage. im sure all you play is dps with high mobility isnt it?
OP has a point, out of the new heroes for ow2 that were support and dps they gave them abilities that have to do with denying damage. Suzu, grip, dig … And for the tanks they gave them boosters to health. It seems the team thinks if they release a “normal” hero people won’t like it. They need to have some kind of NO U.
And when you have a dive tank who dives the enemies? Or your team is getting dived?
Like ya you dont throw it at enemies, but sometimes enemies are near your allies.
If you think suzu counters a lot of ults you should see how many Rein’s zero cd “press and hold in the general direction” counters.
And I say this as someone who thinks Rein is the best rounded tank they ever made.
