It’s good you stood up for yourself. As an off tank main it is infuriating when the main tank wants to be overly aggro and it messes up everyone.

It’s okay, I don’t really “try” tbh. I gotta upgrade my GPU, which is this month, and I have a new webcam/mic/acoustic foam coming in this month too. Girlfriend broke up with me so I figure I have nothing but time now.
I’m an affiliate but I stopped for so long it’s like starting over again!

I mute anyone who is singing and doesn’t have push to talk. I once had to listen to a girl argue with her BF over voice chat because he was upset she was playing OW. It was excruciating listening too.

Sorry to hear about your girlfriend - That sucks. But it sounds like you’ve got some good upgrades coming in, so I hope that goes well for you. 
I’ve honestly debated starting some streaming myself (for some extra money, admittedly), but I don’t have the funds, the equipment, or the reliable internet to make that work lol.

I have zero intent to become a known streamer or make money from it, or rather I should say I have no expectation to. It’s just plain fun to do. I want a place for people who are like me, and take games at their own pace.
I just upgraded from 1 gig down to 1.5 gig down /100 up <.<.
I say go for it. It’s fun, and if you get even one or two people who are semi-regular it’s worth it, plus you can record and clip cool moments from whatever you’re doing to…

Had I the resources, I’d do it. But as I said, unfortunately I don’t…and have no way to change that right now.

People start getting toxic in VC towards me all I say is, “I’m sorry you feel that way” until they shut up. Though one older toxic manchild didn’t like that -at all- and started screaming about “this new generation” always “having a reply to everything.”
I told him I was sorry he felt that way too.
