I feel like this post should be displayed in the fantasy section of a library.
It does not matter. If it does not launch on console, I ain’t trust it. Anyone stupid enough to do that is not going to make a good game.

I just wish Valve would allow all of their old games on modern consoles.
Portal 1 and 2 are available, but not Left 4 Dead 1 and 2.
Half Life was only available through The Orange Box but that’s not purchasable anymore either

Looking like a worse launch than Concord actually impressive lol.
I think devs need to come to terms with the fact that the hero based game market is at capacity with Overwatch, Rivals, Deadlock, Apex Legends, and Valorant.
First I’ve heard of it. Can’t say I’m interested, it would take a hell of a lot for a game to contend with Overwatch at this point and I just don’t have the time or interest for overlapping games.
The only other shooter I’m interested in this point is Deadlock. The character designs are killer and I’ve been waiting years for a decent MOBA shooter. Just worried about Valve community and lack of enforcement, they let the chuds run utterly wild from what I’ve seen.
Only has 9 heroes, for a 5v5 game that’s pretty bare bones, won’t be trying it as none of the heroes looked interesting to me.
I honestly thought this thread was about Deadlock.
Instead it’s about something that will just be Concord 3.
Wish it could’ve been clarified by OP what he was rambling on about but that’s too hard I guess.

There’s this Last Flag and in the near future Time Takers is coming out and it looks like it’s going to be just as DOA lol
Know what, thats totally fair. I just kept seeing it pop up and liked what I saw. If it ends up being worth a look, I’ll tell you. Personally, I love capture the flag.

I love Capture the Flag as well to be honest. I am just tired of always getting gyped.

They did a really good job ironing out the flaws of the mode though. It’s probably the best version of CTF that exists.

It’s already out. Came out the same day season two dropped. Quiet release; only 115 viewers on Twitch at the time of this post. Might not make it.
I should check it out then. I’m open to trying something new.

They absolutely need to go f2p imo though. Launching a competitive hero shooter as buy to play in this day and age is a terrible idea. So many flop that I doubt many are willing to take the risk buying the game. It’s not even hitting a thousand players on steam but it’s a genuinely good game imo. If they’d just go f2p people would try it and see.
People already hate playing Flashpoint in OW. I doubt many OW players are going to enjoy playing a 24/7 Flashpoint game
It takes a lot to pique my interest these days and Last Flag does not meet that bar.
Feels like a game straight out of 2019. Fortnite aesthetic with it’s gimmick being “Hero shooter BUT it’s CTF instead of payload-based or BR!”
The art style was obviously inspired by TF2. Looks nothing like fortnite.
It’s free to try this weekend. And to be honest the small price tag is a good thing. It’s enough of a barrier to entry that you can deter the misfits without alienating the casuals.
Another reason to try it–it’s only 7GB and from what I’ve seen performs well. In an age of massive hundred-GB poorly optimised games that gets an automatic seal of approval. 
Now I’m in talks with the devs about getting it hosted on cloud platforms.

Looks like it was made by an actual small indie studio (funded in part by Imagine Dragons fans) and shadow dropped Apex style. I’m guessing that they will pay some big streamers like Shroud and Tim to build up a bit of hype. Look for it to show up as an Epic Store free giveaway some time later.
