I play tank (fill/flex in comp). I don’t feel useless because I don’t feel the need to run Rein into every situation, especially if there’s a Sombra.

Yeah exactly no ones asking for major reworks or anything just some small buffs: balancing because she can very good with a good co-ordinated team but that’s Rare so most of the time when u play her she’s just countered so badly by everything

I liked her back when she was less played. I feel like she’s ruined now…more attention means more useless patches to fix what’s not broken.

So one quick play match disproves my entire agrument, my bad everybody sombra needs to be able to have your team’s comms, have no spread and do 50% more damage.

She needs changes. She is so dang clunky and infinite stealth was unhealthy for the game. It makes her even more passive and only really helps her at the pro level. It only makes her more of an EMP bot. She needs to be more fluid and aggressive.

Guys, you’re not going to convince the person that he’s having fun when he isn’t.
I looove sombra, but…I mean, she’s to tanks what tracer was to supports before brig.

Anyway, I’d say she’s fine. Her bugs suck. For everyone, it probably sucks to be tracer and get hacked even though you recalled, and it definitely sucks to be sombra and your hack “went through” on a mei in her cryofreeze or a zen who trancendenced at the last second and now you’re on cooldown.

Now ur being dramatic because ur tilted and angry that There’s more people supporting sombra than hating on her and if u didn’t say in ur first post that u hate anyone who plays sombra then no one would be arguing with u it’s just nasty and toxic

Lol cool man, completely disregard how easy it cancels, and goes on a 2s cooldown afterwards. And the fact she has no means of damage besides her primary fire.

And if you cant play the game just because you can’t use your abilities for 6s probably means you have horrid aim. Since according to you, you literally can’t shoot your gun when you’re hacked. Or am I wrong?

And the fact that you specifically are hacked 75% of the match probably says that you got no sense of perception. If you know a sombra is constantly targeting you, keep your eyes and ears out for her, and apparently she isn’t even targeting your team cuz she’s so focused on you! Unless you actually believe she is able to constantly keep most of your team hacked somehow…

The feeling is mutual :slight_smile:

I’m actually an Orisa main. And because i know how hard she is to deal with when she has control of a choke, i picked up her counters to deal with her. One of them is Sombra. The side effect is that i now know how she works

I have a lot of hours on Sombra because she’s fun, and i know i’ll have a good time even if i go on a lose streak. If i actually want to win, i go Orisa. If i need to counter an enemy Sombra, i go Zenyatta.

That’s every match, if you actually ask, you’ll find that a lot of your teammates have their comms muted, and Groups have their comms private by default.

Coming back from a comp game where we had a Sombra on the team.

I feel she’s fine given with call outs of course

However I would like her hacked target to be more visible in a sense (maybe like her sugar skull on there head or something) and her bugs fixed.

Well a dps buff suggestions is crazy. I agree. Any straight buff won’t end well. I’m not going to lie though there are some qol stuff I’d like. I’ve played sombra for a while, and even I have trouble seeing the hack indicator(I know you said it was obvious, maybe I’m just blind :joy: ) a lot of my teammates have trouble because they don’t know when the enemy is unhacked. I try to tell them but you don’t want to overcrowd the mics.

Anyway, I’d suggest picking up winston if you’re really struggling with her. Having bounced around gold and plat for a few seasons, most Sombra’s you see are going to try and hack you right after you use your lunge and barrier(which you may note is pretty useless). Zarya also messes her up too.

Crazy enough, sym is good against her on ladder of Course. Those turrets are the worst. Mei is another great choice due to the spray. Orisa is another strong tank sense her barrier stays after hack unlike rein.

Orisa is actually able to shoot with shield up and if hacked the shield will stay where it is, rein is a completely different story, I don’t know where you play but almost every match I am in a majority of players are in the voice chat. If I picked Orisa Everytime I saw a sombra then I am not going to win most fights, Orisa is situational for slow moving bunker comps like pirate ship, I don’t enjoy playing like that so I normally don’t.

Still a bit too weak imo. I don’t like her infinite invis and transocator buff. What good is that when you can only get hack off a fraction of the time and not really kill anything. Depending on the situation shes good to counter hamster and DF, but the hack is way too unreliable.

What she needs imo:
-Hack goes through damage
-A minimum damage threshold to decloak - maybe 15 or 20 damage
-Shorter decloaking time

A dmg buff would help too in terms of lower spread or faster reload, but that might make her OP. I think those issues are the most pressing so she can at least reliably counter a tracer, DF, hamster without randomly losing hack and dying. Oh and also hack should disable Brigs passive heal to reduce how oppressive she is.

Orisa’s a good shout, if you time it right and predict the emp, you can actually keep your barrier up after emp (the game treats it as a projectile while its in the air, so it won’t be deleted if you shoot it straight up before the emp).
Sym I haven’t had too much trouble but let me tell you new torb cuts my hack numbers in half.

EMP is strong af. The rest of her kit is average. Overall, she’s average. Weak at low ranks, strong at high ranks.

Oh new torb is frustrating. Winston was a strong choice too. Sym isn’t a hard counter but it is something that can make me be more careful than I normally am. Same with junkrat traps. Just one of those things that will delay me but not hard counter me.
