its the biggest assault map…i used a stopwatch yesterday cause i wanted to e sure…timed how long it takes too run to point B or point A (on def) with ashe and it came out as follows:
actually thats from the spawn door…so the numbers are actually technically larger than that
from reinforcements pov its heavily favored towards attack at the beginning…but def has upper hand at the end…if you lose anyone its going to be hard to take def pt A or take pt B
At the time you wrote this, the map had been out for a very long time in PTR. And no, just because it was on PTR, does not mean anyone’s opinion of the map is invalid.
Obviously there are going to be more players playing, and matchmaking people of the same rank will be a lot more accurate. Even though the matchmaking in Overwatch is complete trash, it will still be better than what you get in PTR. But even then, it does not make someone’s opinion of the map invalid. They still experience the same map.
Hm… Assuming things that are completely wrong, considering the map has been out for a very long time(even by the date I created this thread). And then spewing stuff like “Keep useless posts off the forums please.”, … How about you keep your useless assuming replies off the forums?
Your reply does not contribute with anything to this thread. And you are being hypocritical about it.
Okay… So, you played attack 4 times and you think that is enough to build a conclusion? Please, don’t come into threads like a complete butt saying someone suck like that. Try play as attacker at least 15-20 times and then try again in a more civil manner.
TP wise there’s not even a good way through. Or if there is i’ve not noticed it yet. Probably going to try TPing into the police station and going behind.
Still coming to the threads and complaining before the map is out for a while in competitive is still unneeded. The average player actively seeking to play on the map is not playing on it with a competitive mindset, which is where the real issues with the map will surface. As of now, there is no conclusive evidence or widespread/one-sided community opinion on the map being inherently bad or exceedingly good because we have not seen it in a largely competitive environment as of yet. These things will come when it gets released to comp or if someone like Jayne/Elo-Hell runs PUGs on the map to see if there are any glaring advantages. You can never just go off of PTR quickplay or live arcade when creating opinions about maps. Also, just as a reminder, these maps are made to be used competitively, so If any complaint surrounds the map not being fun/fair in a QP environment, then it has very little relevancy.
I agree with this but weirdly in most of the games I played (maybe about 20 or so?) the first point was usually stomped and capped in a minute or less and the second point was struggle city. I’m curious to see what the attacker/defender winrates are.
