Why do mods keep silencing accounts for 1000 of years just for being false flagged, or even for an innocent joke made in a thread?

Look dude, you are walking along a razor’s edge for even mentioning being banned on another account, because using another account to circumvent a ban is also not allowed.
And you do not get a ban for a 1000 years for just one thing.
Make a ticket and hope for the best, but I doubt you will get unbanned.

Im not even hana song, but i found his case to be just really unfair, and i’ve seen more cases with the hong kong fiasco
People getting banned left and right just for making jokes or expressing an opinion, when there are other users just trolling around like that who shall no be named but starting with E

I’d like to point out that normally I find rude forum posters falsely claim to be unjustly persecuted. This is not the case here.
I’ve been in many forums and never once banned or silenced, but on the Overwatch forums I’ve been banned three times. The mods are often being neglegent or abusive in their power.

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying, but that phrase has a specific unrelated meaning to what you’re trying to say.
I think it’s because the rules are different.
For example I’ve been silenced up to 11 days on another forum (which is like 7x), but never here. (Knock on wood.)
I’ve been silenced twice and I adulterate my language here a great deal. These people would lose their minds if they saw how I destroy people elsewhere.

Tbh the thread was pure spam bust should just have been deleted.
The problem is thay just nuke it to the ground, while people who are actually trolling and making bait threads everyday are left alone

The problem is, the flags were probably made by people who spam flags on my account.
I mean, it makes since. We had people all around us, daily, on the forums, secretly being toxic to me, and showing “rejoice” that I got banned. And if you ask me, they are the ones that need to be banned.

Can get away with personally attacking people for being idiots, but one time I made the horrendous mistake of suggesting a Roadhog balance shift that some people didn’t like.

To further his point, even discussing a ban or an action that the moderator takes against someone is against the rules. If you have an issue, follow the proper procedures, but keep it off the forums.
