i doubt anyone who’s GM with any hero is lower then gold with any hero. (exception being mercy directly after her rework)

In many cases, the YouTubers who do that type of gameplay (Bronze to GM) throw their placements and keep for days or weeks on end. And once they reach GM, they have a proper smurf to play on. No one seems to have ever been punished or comment on being punished, which is a little unfair. :confused: It’s like they are immune to throwing if it’s for YouTube or livestreaming.

Why would they comment on being punished though?
That is why - if you think they did something wrong report the account.

But don’t think no action was taken simply because there is no video saying no action was taken on them.

Believe me a top 500 player with any hero cant possible go below plat or even diamond with any other.

Bronze to GM vids are all smurfs. I hope.

But the problem is that it encourages smurfing and not to mention, these vids are a joke due to how the SR system works. Basically, if your a GM player, you will be out in GM insanely faster than any other person because the MMS picks up on your abilities to fuflfill roles.

But I do agree it’s a problem because they have to throw the placement matches.

I don’t think this really holds. There is a world of difference between Top 500 and Bronze. Even myself when i created another account and played basically in the best manner i knew, that account placed in Gold. I dont believe i can beat a top 500 player at any hero. Unless maybe a Mercy only since day one tries Widow, but still i am yet to see a top 500 player with bronze level aim, even for Mercy mains.

Any GM-level player in bronze, purposely threw in some way to get there.

Unless they just picked up some account that wasn’t theirs (and that person is either in Bronze or threw themselves)

That is why I said certain characters mesh well compared to others.
S76 and Sombra will have equal aim profiles.

Lucio though unless you know how to play him well mechanically you are just going to insta die against top 500. Since his main importance to the team is not his aim but his maneuverability.

Honestly, this technicality is what’s causing a lot of the problem.

In all reality, he is trying to win, and he is making an effort to get that account up to where it should be. Technically speaking, that in and of itself isn’t bad at all.

The problem only comes up when the initial placement is so off from his actual deserved rank that he’s just stomping everyone he comes across.

I remember there was one video a while back of a GM tier Mercy player playing in a bronze match and lost a gunfight to a Bronze Mercy. Funny things can happen.

That said in the lowest of low ranks, you don’t need great mechanical skill to climb out of it. Basic gamesense and teamwork will absolutely stomp them, and it’s pretty safe to say a T500 player knows how to play the game at the basic level.
