And to the person who said Orisa is dead - no she’s not. Pretty sure, as a SUPPORT hero, Orisa will have more health and sustain than Brigitte.

Moira have good movment and heals no cc and no shileds.
She’s a tank/support hybrid. She is a new hero, the OP isn’t trolling; she just got added to the PTR. Check YouTube if you need confirmation, or the Overwatch hero roster page. Two of the same hero in a row isn’t the worst for the game, especially when the Support roster was still missing a third off-healer so Lucio and Zen aren’t the only ones competing for the role.

While I was really hoping it was a tank we got next, I don’t think getting another support is “bad for the game”…though I’m really hoping Junkertown queen is a tank or defense, we DO need a break from new Support and Offense heroes after Brigitte.
So hopefully Junkertown Queen(hoping she’s the July hero) and the Blizzcon hero are Tank and Defense.

Would have made sense too because Torb is a defense so I was kind of expecting Brigitte to be one as well. Oh well, we will get a defense hero eventually I’m sure.

Sorry, no new DEFENSE her0 in 2 years, its a damn shame, I’ve been playing since beta and this damn game is going downhill. One full class of hero gets nothing new for 2 years? 2 supports in a row? what is this trash.

I think the next hero will either be Defense or Tank. I actually think Defense and Tank will be the roles for the next TWO new heroes, so don’t lose faith.

I guessed Brigitte is going to be next hero when i saw Rein cinematic. It was such a natural way to progress story from there to make Brigitte join Overwatch as well.
Totally going to main her if she is fun to play. She is basically Healer/Tank Hybrid? Perfect for when my teammates pick 5 DPS!

As a flex player who plays Tank first and Support second, Brigitte sounds amazing! I actually commented quite a while ago that a Paladin archetype would fit well as a hero in the Overwatch universe, and here she is! Her visual design is along those lines and looks fantastic, and her abilities sound extremely impactful and potentially meta-defining.
The overheal has so much potential for creating new combinations. Overheal another character and then have Ana Nanoboost them for a highly resilient killing machine. Nanovisor just got harder to kill. Send a super-armored Reinhardt into the fray and watch him wreck house.
I love her ability to bridge that Support and Tank gap, but to also be a more proactive version of both that can act almost like a field commander. Brigitte can make the calls, then both lead and support the charge at the same time!
If anyone is complaining about her being a support, then they need to learn to count. Both Tanks and Supports needed some additional options, and here she is, in one awesome package.
I am a console player, so it will be a while before I can play her, but I am looking forward to it. Great job, Blizzard!

It’s bad for the game because, with such slow hero releases, it caters to 1 type of player.
If you play any of the other roles that’s quite a few months of nothing.
Support tank!!! I’m maining her. Been waiting so long for a hybrid healer tank. Never playing support class again. When Moira is nerfed to the ground there will be no point.
But I will work hard to protect any supports on my team. I know your pain. Please ve kind tank mains, I’m a noob and I humbly ask for your guidance
Aren’t defense heroes just specialized dps’s. We could really use more diversity in the support class and a tanking one feels just right. Effectively adding another dps just sounds off to me
