I’ve played since 2017 so it had plenty of time to gather all information needed
Only thing I can say is before OW went OW2, there was no such thing for me as loss or win streaks, max was around 4-5 probably. That I remember well. And I was only playing QP back then also, so nothing changed from those times.
Now it’s…somehow they show up and they can be veeery huge.
That’s the only thing that bothers me a lot.
When back then it was W-L-W-L-L-W-W-W-L-L-W-L-W-L-L-L-W-W-W
Now it’s W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-W-L-L-L-W-L-W-W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L and so on.

I’m not naive. But then again, it’s more effort than most people seem to put into this when they rant about it on the forums.
The main point was to prove to myself that my overwhelming sense that I was being cheated of a balanced experience was in fact not true.

I think the key here is the word experience. There is no way of telling if the reality of the match is or not balanced. Every person in the match has a different experience. The reality of the matter is that if all the MMR does is keep track of your win and losses and nothing else, there is objectively no way for matches to be balanced. And that’s ok when you play a few games with friends around new patches. If you play daily hours at the time it gets pretty discouraging.
Welp 35% of the time I can just see ( scoreboard) and feel that I underperform - that is when I 100% feel that match is misbalanced, and I’m not in a lobby of my level - I need to be waaaay lower. And that enemy team is just waaayy better, like that feeling when you miss 10 shots and only 1 got the target. Or when your shield/absorb just can’t hold THAT much damage, or that you can’t overheal the damage. When you peak out of corner and get headshot 6 times in a row from different routs, Or when enemy Venture/Tracer just so silent and deadly that they kill everyone one by one. I really try all my mains, all counters and just can’t contribute anything - and I tell that in chat , like “sorry I’m out of ideas :(”. when even picking Winton and diving backline supports or taking flanking routs doesn’t work as 4 heroes just target you and bam - 5 secs and you’re dead D:
Yeah, in the end your personal mindset triumphs everything. I’ve learnt to enjoy games even if they result in losses. If I had the option to do so I would hide the entire rank system in a heartbeat. I only think it does a disservice to the players and their ability to regulate their emotions and focus on the actual game.

I finished looking at your replay. First match it was just unfortunate you were solo healing but you were throwing when it was about to end and not helping your team at their last teamfight??
Second match it became more obvious. You seem like not to know what to do most of the time and who to prioritize and who to kill. I can see you are struggling with your aim it’s holding you back a lot. It looks like a bronze/silver lobby to me to see how most people play and that low winrate is because your playing on 6v6 and that gamemode is very volatile. So my advice is to focus on improving your aim, it will enable you to do a lot more.
I was in a Masters4 to Champ5 lobby today. So someone barely out of diamond versus someone who is playing against pros.
The matchmaker is awful because it allows games like that to even happen
Guess which team won? Yes it was the one with the champ player and the team that lost had the Masters 4 player. That’s what people mean by “forced loss”, because it’s so obvious the team with the Champ has the advantage and the team with the M4 is disadvantaged.
What region and what role are you playing? If you play Tank and sometimes support on EMEA, especially if you have high SR It will drop you anywhere just to fill those lobbies. I usually flex and most of the time it places me against absolute new players and when I want to get balanced game I have to play really late at night to avoid the casual lobbies.
That game I was playing support NA. My point is the game should never create a M4 to Champ lobby, this game is supposedly doing well yet somehow it could not find some other Masters for that player to play against?

that’s not a blizzard thing. this is an ACTIVISION THING. it used to not be like this, now that I have my filter, its hard not to blame the matchmaking, it FEELS rigged. at least in solo queue.
After my post I won 2 games after which I’ve lost another 9 in a row
So there are no possible lobbies for me in qp, I’m just a punching bag for master players to warm up before comp?(

Yes , I think that having ranks given at the end of the season would be more beneficial but that’s never gonna happen because is not casual friendly.

don’t worry he hate me aswell and make me understand that the hardest he can , i’ve never played a game who do everything to make me fail so bad . the craziest part is when i threat to uninstall this game and then i come back , the games are really easy and i’m not even joking .
