Mechanicaly interesting is subjective.
I think that moira is a mechanicaly interesting hero - you don’t.
Moira isn’t auto lock like people think. Also, her orb used as dmg leaves her open to be killed with burst or having the team take extra damage.
Moira has low dps with no CC; Brigitte has mid damage with lots of CC, but no range or out of combat healing potential (aside from the activated).
“No aim” isn’t a bad thing considering that most of the cast is “no aim” with lots of spread or large hit areas.
Let me precise my though then. by “interesting” I mean “challenging”. Ana is challenging aiming wise. Lucio can be challenging by defying dragonblades with your isane wall riding skill. Zen is challenging via the rightclic, but overall more spammy than anything else.
However, Mercy, Moira, Symmetra and now Brigitte have all no challenge at all to their abilities usage. So even though they could be interesting “conceptualy”. Their mechanics are swallow AF.
Hard or soft, the lock is there. You cannot deny most Moira’s just hold M2 grossely point toward a guy in red when they do not need to heal.
Incorrect. Most of the cast do require some form of aiming. Rein and the support listed make the complete “no aim requiered list”. Now I do not think those character are bad. But support has them all already. Blibli, make us another skillful support please.
Something being challenging also has a very high amount of variants and can’t be subjected to a blanket statement like “X is not challenging”.

She provides a decent amount of Armor already (dat ult), I think her passive ability should instead provide healing to anyone that is behind her shield. And maybe a short distance ahead too so she’s not trying to moon walk everywhere. I believe that’d put more of an incentive to cover teammates rather than waling on everyone.

New: 25 + 126 + 17 = 168 dmg in 1.64 secs*

If we want to make it even more realistic, we can introduce accuracy and critical, but we should include boost pushback + punch combo. Against static targets (see McCree, Zenyatta or Ana), it is almost impossible to have accuracy less than 50% if DVa is in a straight line without barriers in between.
Thus we have
Current: 25 + 162/2 + 108/2 + 17/2 + 30 = 199 dmg
New: 25 + 126/2 + 72/2 + 17/2 + 30 = 163 dmg
If a single pellet hits critical, then DVa can kill the half of the roster if she used this combo with 50% accuracy (assuming that the rest of dmg splash around him). New DVa cannot reach 200 dmg even if there was not any falloff and ALL pallets hit the target (which is impossible).
Pallet miss rate can be adjusted with critical rate, so whatever the pallet miss is, you can increase her critical chance and get the same results.

I know you enjoy flexing and all, but you can sum up that whole post into a single paragraph.
Basically your point, along with the devs, is that she took a 20% hit on her burst. Again, oh noes. A tank can’t insta kill half the roster with a combo… like every other tank. But she still has the strongest kit among the tanks, and does even better than Monkey for dive and does more damage (overall) vs the other tanks.
Not only that, she still has her defensive abilities, eject to contest and a large area of denial ultimate ability that can insta kill anyone caught in its wake.
