This isn’t exactly an OW specific thing.
But designers buy and large do listen to feedback, but it is rare that any actually has changes that will benefit the game as whole.
Or that wouldn’t also have draw backs in their own right, or effect more then just the suggested component.
While at the same time can’t take into account new heroes, or other content being worked on down the line.
Not to mention individual players biases to certian heroes/gamemodes/platforms/skill levels and more.
Or the fact that some aspects or in fact intentional, such has heroes having certian weaknesses or holes in their gameplay.
So like devs always need to cherry pick and find overarching issues or complaints, more so then just then taking user JoeJohnDoe420’s advise and totally buffing genji.
Also like their is very little universal consensus on what the community as a whole actually wants.
And any changes made will have both priase and push back from one side or another, even things that the community as a whole sees as positive will have small group of people that will just hate it for one reason or another.
On a side note, the devs themselves also have an opinion on these matters. And in most cases is up to them regarding what kind of game they want to make, as much as it is what the community enjoys and dislikes about it.
