it’s a fun event don’t get me wrong but yea no point in spending hours on it if there is no reward. I’d even take a measly voice line
Bummer, definitely makes the mode less appealing for me. It’s so weird that they wouldn’t have an achievement and spray- it’s the cheapest and most basic reward you can provide players. Without the satisfaction of finally getting a new achievement, what’s the point?
I’m sure the mode is still fun and I plan to check it out, but I’m unlikely to spend as much time playing the event like in the past… But maybe that’s the point?? Dun dun duuuun!!

Kinda sucks. I doubt it, but you can maybe they post patch something in? Even a spray is something.

They’re trying to make the cosmetic rewards more achievable. A lot of players have complained in the past about how difficult it is to get the various sprays and such for event mode achievements. They did the same thing with the mini-events over the last year and a half, where you could get progress towards the cosmetic rewards by simply playing games, even if you didn’t win them.
Also, I imagine there would be even more pushback about the limited free cosmetics if some of them were locked behind very difficult challenges.
You get the same XP for beating it on Expert*. Story and Hard difficulty levels have actual cosmetic rewards.
I’m glad the team will finally see how uncompelling the PvE is in this game. No reward was the right move from my perspective; Should be an eye-opener for the devs and producers.
That’s the point… It’s a non-essential reward for beating it on the hardest difficulty. It doesn’t impact gameplay at all. Or at least it was before the battlepass system
Yeah, I get it, and I’m disappointed not to have a spray to work for as well (even though I don’t even have the spray menu bound). But people complained, and here we are.

I have beaten legendary for every pve mode. Not even gonna bother with this one.
You get absolutely nothing for it, and the hero choices suck. Nothing like bots that explode near you and your tank is melee range. Fun!
Dude it’s a holiday PvE mode, calm down lol , you are literally going against AI bots, get to GM in ranked then you can flex lol
