That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard man!! 
If D.va engages WITH micro-missiles, then the shield is basically destroyed. She might get ONE shield-bash in, but after that, it’s gone. Brig does 35 damage per swing, and D.va does tons more, so her self-healing isn’t even a factor. Brig dies.
If you engage WITHOUT micro-missiles, she will have maybe 2 shield-bashes, but the micro-missiles at close range ANNIHILATE Brig, and she has no chance.
Still, nice try.

I hate her as much as the next guy, but Hog and Zarya alt clicks toast her just fine.
I have literally 1v1’ed D.Va’s several times as Zenyatta when she dives me. I could easily do it as Brigitte as well.
Any semi-coherent Brigitte is going to block all of your micro-missles as you come flying in, and once you’re in range, boom shield bash, then they are going to run around you like a crazy person and you’re not going to be able to keep up with them. Brigitte is anti-dive. The Brigitte’s you’ve killed sound really out of position and stupid.
The best comps for D.va, include Moira, and then Ana/Zen with whatever DPS or second tank you want. (Most preferably a Sombra and Rein or something…) That way, you have enough healing to just deathball around. Focus down the prime targets i.e. supports (Brig.) and then whoever is left.
I’ve been 1-tricking this tactic so I forget what it feels like to run other comps.
Tbh the way to counter brigitte is essentially engage her when shes weak,
You may want an ana to anti nade her or zen to discord and THEN you engage, she mostly has no chance
200 damage if every missile hits. She will not get a chance, because she will get stunned before DVA hits them all.
Her swings are guaranteed damage that also compliments Brigs by healing her. Please uninstall.
But that’s kind of not the topic here? That’s not “picking a tank that counters Brigitte”. That’s letting something else counter Brigitte and maybe tapping her once to get the elimination point.

shes one of those heroes that is mostly beaten via teamwork,
For tank counters, Anything that can break her shield (Hog) or bypass it ( Rein, Winston) Can act as an indirect counter
But that’s been sort of a problem with tanks in general. In a lot of situations, they have to be reliant on everyone else to deal with specific threats. Like D.Va kind of handles Pharah, but not really without a proper hitscan.
“Teamwork” is kind of a cop-out solution when it’s really just “you can’t do anything, let someone else handle it”.
Theres not much of “Countering” You can really do vs brigitte in general other than not get stunned,

The only tank that’s unambiguously countered by Brigitte is Winston

In a true 1v1 situation, only Winston and Ball have trouble with Brigitte. Orisa outright dumpsters Brigitte. The rest can win with proper management of their cooldowns.
In a team fight, the better coordinated team wins.
I beat her on Orisa though.
Or you can just use Reinhardt as his hammer bypasses her shield and can take her out than she could take you out.
That wasn’t my point.
My point was that Orisa’s high fire rate greatly compensates for her individual projectile damage being reduced from 11 to 6. She still shoots 12 projectiles in 1 second, so her damage is still a respectable 72 per second.
And again, that’s without headshots and only for the first 50 HP. She deals full damage to Brigitte after less than a second.
Trying to argue scenarios involving an entire team is pointless because there are thousands of variations just from character picks alone. Besides, in any scenario, we have to assume that your team is just as competent as Brigitte’s, otherwise it’s again pointless.
The only variable we can cover is the one you can control: yourself.
I’ve never struggled against a Brig as a tank but then again my preferred tanks are Orisa and Zarya and I think they really do feel like the most effective against her even if most of the others have a fighting chance as well. Zarya can be a bit risky if she’s caught trying to 1v1 a Brig but its also hilarious how many Brig players will continue to swing at me when my shield is up, fueling my charge. It’s also pretty effective to bubble whoever is taking her on and watch her panic as her stuns all fall flat. Brig is also vulnerable to splash damage given how small her shield is so Zarya’s alt fire is very effective. Don’t fire at the shield head on, fire just to the side of her or behind.
Orisa is even better. I have my shield to keep me and my team safe and if she tries to push in past it, my alt fire to pull her away and make some more space while I gatlin gun her shield into tiny pieces. If she still keeps coming, fortify so she can’t get past me and help my team mow her down.
All and all I don’t feel Brig is terribly hard to deal with. Least of all for tanks.
Orisa is my go-to Brig counter. I just keep my gun trained on her shield and she can’t do anything because of all the pressure. If she does manage to get close with her shield up, I Halt and pull her away to ruin her stun, then break her shield. Failing either of those, I Fortify the easily expected stun so her risky approach gets no value, then blast her away.
Nah. I play a ton of Wrecking Ball. He wrecks Brigitte (no pun intended).
Even if she manages to catch him with her Shield Bash, he’s only stunned for a short time. In a 1v1, Brigitte is screwed after she Shield Bashes, because now Hammond has free reign to Piledrive and bulldoze her all over the place.
