…What’s a Pharah? Is that a new hero or something?
Damn, forgot about Echo… Scratch Mercy being fine she’s going to be a must pick. WE MUST ALERT YOUR OVERWATCH!

YES!!! TIME TO SOUND THE SARCASM ALARM!!! LET’S CALL STYLOSA, YOUROVERWATCH AND TELL EVERYONE TO FLEE TO FORTNITE OR VALORANT BECAUSE THE WITCH IS BACK
I see you’re already calling them…Nice work!
I’m so tired right now…
YES! All the Mercy mains are going to come back and boost so much SR it’s going cause the pros to cry in fear!
Xqc is safe in Valorant where no super jumps will humiliate him. This saddens me deeply that he will not be here for the apocalypse of Mercy mains smacking top 500 players with their superior beam skills.
Can you imagine if there was a super jump in Valorant upon release… Or Xqc sees that Valorant and Overwatch doing a crossover launch event and Mercy gets added to Valorant
Nothing ANYONE has suggested would result in any hero other than Ana having the highest heal capability.
If you switch away from Ana despite her still having the highest healing rate, but her heal rate just isn’t as high as it used to be, that’s pure spite. That’s an attempt to coerce the developers to not balance your hero by dumping her pickrate.
But if you want the highest skill to give the highest reward, that would still be Ana, it’s not conceivable that anything else is on the table.
Just not such an excessively high reward.
She is literally meta
If I were xQc I’d be more worried about there being a healer in Valorant with an instant rez ability
A instant rez ability that’s also a mass rez with invulnerability while casting! Tho would be crazy or stupid enough to give invulnerability on a mass rez…
To be fair Blizzard came forward and said Overwatch wasn’t designed for E-Sports and Competitive, it was a game more suited to Casual Gameplay… whilst Riot mentioned that Valorant was designed for intent E-Sport and Competive play…
Overwatch has a long ongoing problem over it’s own identity and has no idea what it wants to be.
Ana is a tank healer by default… mainly because the tanks are big and bulky enough for you to keep spamming darts into their back unless it is something like Hammond and Winston, D.Va and they keep moving and diving into Barriers and behind a wall.
She doesn’t do well with DPS like Genji and Tracer as well… thats why with the nerf and the shift from Death Ball to Dive, Ana took a natural dip in pick rates back in the day…
Even today she still burden with the same weakness.
Only if you are in the minority of the community that knows what they are doing… over half of the playerbase don’t even understand the basics of team work and the concept of moving in together/pushing forward.
Invulnerable was dumb… Mercy use to die for her Res… they added it in because they didn’t want the Support dying for her ult and the team fighting without their healer -_- but honestly… which feels batter?
Killing the Mercy and knowing the enemy/your team has only one chance and the second chance is all they get.
Or
Mercy survives and gets ignored, builds up a 2nd round and throws in another res?
She’s also not that bad, especially on large maps with long sight lines to cover multiple entry points.
I’ve seen players manage quite well, when the Tracer/Genji retreat they only have to get within line-of-sight of Ana and make themselves an easy target for ana to scope in and only give them a dart which is often all they need, not always a 2nd dart is needed. Because it’s quicker to scope in and shoot than Mercy using GA to get over there, stay there healing them then get back to the central position.
One big difference from dive is there’s no question of there being only one healer who has to do all the healing.
There’s always going to be 2 healers, the other healer may be far more suited to healing the extremely evasive and mobile heroes while Ana focuses more on healing tanks and only occasionally moonlights as healing the fast-squishy heroes when appropriate.
Yeah and they won’t stay still and keep spacebaring or A & D ing about
Its vastly different.
The struggle is real.
on xbox it’s mercy meta every day all day and yes it is horrible
