I was thinking about this exact thing if summer games were hypothetically being released today.

Only plausible reason I could think of for not advertising it is that they may be finished adding content to events. I don’t believe that’s likely, but that’s the only reason I could think of that they wouldn’t do more promoting for it.

Very unlikely. But we do need to consider this is the start of the 3rd year of events.

I personally don’t believe the games will start today and they will continue to add content. Just stating that’s the only reason they may stop advertising events if they ever were to.
