my guess is goats lite tanks are still just better dps only sojourn and widow would get any value from dps in open queue

Bastion has 300health with some armour there, and 20% damage reduction in turret/ult. He works as a mini tank.
Tanks that are most played are damage soak, like Sigma, DVA, Orisa, so Symettra/Mei work quite well to kill them.
3 DPS + 2 Healer pops up sometimes, so basically any DPS works into that, but Hanzo and Widow do well if you can land your picks.
It’s been really flexible since the tank nerfs.

not from what i have seen if you dont run 3 tank 2 support you will loose not to mention 5 heroes out of 17 heros works is not a good thing. goats literaly almost killed the game and it would happen again

Completely incorrect. What rank are you playing at? I’ve not seen 3 tanks 2 healer work since the tank nerfs, maybe 1 game. Most games are 1-2 tanks, 1-2 DPS, 2 healers.

Yes Meta is the best way of playing something but the best metas are a rock-paper-scissors where multiple “comps” are meta because they counter each other. You’re used to role Q which limits counterplay and creates a much more stale meta where you see most of the same heroes every game.

One i odnt do play comp by my self only with my team so we are plat but we only play ranked once or twice so ya dont play it all much we play unranked and i have been matching with a lot of top 500 titles and no loosing i have a 65% win rate against top 500 contenders it seems but yet you said it your self you did it in open queue and ow look at that you have a game mode with no role non what so ever yet you still want to kill this game. Also i justt took a gander at all top 50p and i odnt see yiur name any where whats you gamer tag or rank in what regan i cant find you might have just passed your icon on accident. On top rank realy means nothing when the dvs them selfs said that it was messed up so who nows you could just be lucky.

I wouldn’t even say that meta is the best way of playing something. It’s not.
Meta is just the generally-agreed-upon way of playing the game. It’s just how most people play it, and it does tend to be rock-paper-scissors, but none of that ever means it’s the best way. There are many, many examples of games in which new, better metas are “discovered” even when no patch has been applied to change anything.
Ya rank is just to toxic for my group we got to plat and said thus isnt fun and went back to ubranked and had way more fun playing the heros we want not the bs plat meta
