I mean…
-The new DPS passive is pretty absurd on Genji
-All of genji’s competition in the role was nerfed, but he wasn’t
-Lack of tanks allows Genji a lot more freedom to kill things
-Lack of CC makes it a lot harder to pin down + kill the Genji
-Genji has somewhat insane synergy with Kiriko’s ult particularly
OW2 has definitely favored him immensely. Genji’s been a mainstay in OWL, which is saying something for a hero who is primarily designed to punish mistakes and who tends to have the best outputs at mid ranks and be less useful in high ranks.
Most all indications that we have point to Genji being pretty overtuned right now. Not that your advice on dealing with him is bad, but I felt like it needed to be said that he’s probably too good atm (but that was likely intentional, so people would buy the battle pass tbh).

Hyper mobility is supposed to counter aim, and you’re asking to counter it with aim.
Also, how fast does your aim has to be to track a double jumping weeb spamming RMB on your head?
Jeez, I get that some players tends to get delusional and biased when it is about their favorite hero, but c’mon.

No, I just have good enough aim to actually deal with predictable movement. Double jumps are very predictable. You time your shots for when he hits the apex of his jumps, it’s pretty simple.
I didn’t always have good aim, actually took the time to practice.
Not a genji main so you need to find another strawman.

The counter to any hero is playing better than the player you’re fighting against.
Sounds like a great plan.
In order to deal with blizzards incompetence do you just have to put some extra effort in dealing with something broken. Why should they try and do their job right if the players are willing to accept it and deal with it?
(Huh… That’s basically how OW2 is created i guess.)
Brigitte and Mercy were not problems. Players just weren’t capable enough to deal with it.

This was always my argument against DPS doomfist. Nobody wanted to have that discussion and it always went to win-rates or “just play cassidy lul”

The DPS passive is a mistake overall, it also favors other heroes than just Genji.
Maybe Genji didn’t need nerfs? Nothing he does is outright oppressive other than being mobile. He’s more or less the same hero he has always been. He was good during dive and quickly fell off as the game changed direction to the point that the only value you could get with him was Nanoblade and even that was easily countered.
Lack of tanks is beneficial to basically the entirety of the damage category.
There isn’t really a lack of CC, if you mean hard stuns then sure but there’s plenty of displacement CC that does a lot towards denying him value.
As for Kiriko, sure, his Blade is insane with it but if you weren’t stopping him with a naked blade, it doesn’t really matter how good it is in combination with other things.
This is not blizzard incompetence, this is your incompetence. This is a very simple mechanical problem and to some extend knowledge problem. Hitting a Genji is not proven to be an impossible task. Something like launch Brig was very much as close to being an impossible task to overcome.
If you can’t get better aim and can’t play smarter to deal with it, it’s a you problem

With respect early on in ow1 mercy was invulnerable while using rez that is what made her op and forced a rework
Every tier list has put him in S tier, flats, Stylosa and even shroud live now saying how broken he is.
Before you say anything, yes they are pro’s they get paid to play OW.
She gained invul a few months before the rework. Oh, srr, its late here.
DPS could shoot her before ult, you know. As genji now, lol.

The random decision to change the DPS passive that will greatly benefits mobile heroes and not doing anything to mobile heroes when CC was massive removed are the results of blizzard incompetence.
And you are asking players to deal with this mess. Saying that players should aim better is just beyond stupid if you’d ask me.

i been playing some sombra in the new “updated” game and she does well against him or you can target and disrupt him. not a REAL hard counter but she can make his life hell
i saw some vids of necros (pro genji guy) getting REAL tilted about sombra as well 
If you have good aim no hero is OP.
Abilities mean nothing.
Genji should be throwing 1 star for ranged. The 3 delay burst is like training wheels for how to shoot projectiles. If he takes so much skill he doesn’t need three chances to hit when leading a target.
