Grav can be held for as long as zarya likes and is then tossed out with basically little warning.
Point is- both ults are guaranteed kills on specific heroes with absolutely nothing they themselves can do about it if criteria are met.
And this is true for many other heroes. Doomfists ult is no exception.

Both those options rarely work tbh. brig is usually the best way to work around it (unless you’re willing to go for the off chance you can consistently sleep him on his engages from out of nowhere) and he definitely counters her too.

There are plenty of ways to adpat without having specific comps to counter.
I played a game the other day against a Masters Doom who we shredded, yet everyone but myself was playing heros he supposedly “counters”. Hell I even shred that Doomfist in less than 4 seconds(While he was nanoed) while completely disrupting his combo and saving our Zen

There’s also no way to dodge his uppercut and slam combos. Just be grateful that his Rocket Punch wasn’t nerfed. Why? You can dodge that one and there’s counterplay.
Don’t see it as nerfs to Doomfist but buffs to Overwatch in general!

In reality, it seems Blizzard has realized the mistake in their own initial principles of one-shot heroes. If they have a oneshot in their kit -> the rest of their kit should be somewhat weak to balance it. Doom has been excluded of this as well as Hanzo, and the only one left who fits that mold is Widow. Sym was similar as well when she had the danger noodle. It was balanced but detracted from her kit as a whole.

Cant deny that but i think the one with the pillar in the mid is decent for snipers (gardens was the name?)

And by the time you take that shot, if you are playing like a sniper should, the rockets will nit have reached you, or you could easily stafe to the side while scoped and be nowhere close to the blast.
You know, because widow is a hitscan and Pharah isn’t.
