“Lol the Syms who left her didn’t want to aim!”
Oh, you mean when the devs stripped her of all accessibility when she not only was proven to be a favorite among disabled and weak aim players but the devs themselves used her as a mascot for player diversity?
Let me tell you, those Syms didn’t leave. They were pushed out. Because disabled people are seen as expendable outside of trying to get brownie points and have no place in the esports scene (except those rare special inspiration corn cases where they spent years practicing to get where they are, making them the exception and not an easily achievable norm.)
Symmetra literally fit me like a glove. I still play her when I get on Overwatch (which is much less after the rework, only when my friend has access to good internet) but there is a noticeable and irreconcilable change. I never felt like the weak link. Now I do. I never was in pain and could play her all day. Now I must stop after a match or two because my hand cramped up and won’t get steady.
The sentiment that people left Sym because of “aim” is wrong, ignorant, and shows a clear lack of empathy.
