The problem with Juno is her shield health

She’s extremely difficult to hit and she’s incredibly mobile. If she ducks behind cover, which is easy for her to do, she gets to double dip on the shield regen and the support passive self-heal. She doesn’t have any self-healing, but she doesn’t need it.

Remove all of her shield HP and I think her deaths per 10min will fall in line with other heroes.

I wouldnt mind it because its not like shield health does a lot against flankers, which she is apparently being balanced against.

Not really. If you’re missing enough shots for her shield health to regen mid battle it’s kind of a skill issue lol. The reason she has such low deaths per 10 is because Brig can hard pocket her and they cover each others weaknesses

BrigJuno is omnipresent in high ELO atm

The shield health doesn’t do a whole lot when you’re tagged by a flanker and your regen is shut down by 1 tick of damage, it’s the Brig proccing inspire and triple packing her

One issue is that it’s nearly impossible to anti Juno. Not a huge issue, but if she’s eating health packs all game long then it can be problematic for Ana players.

She’s one of the least killed supports at every rank that we can see on public stats.

Even at high ranks brigs only being picked roughly half the time that Juno is

Brigs at high levels of play definitely helps- but that’s a small portion of it, and that coordination isn’t happening at lower ranks / doesn’t explain why she’s got low deaths there as well.

Juno has low deaths because she is difficult to kill in and of herself.

I am not saying her survivability needs nerfed, but it’s odd to me when people deny that she’s difficult to kill. Shes a very slippery hero.

Her shield health may contribute to it but the fact of the matter is she’s skinny and fast. Her movement is unpredictable in three dimensions which is why people have such a problem killing her. Same for Pharah, Echo, and Mercy. It’s easy to track a target in 2D but it’s harder when they move around in the air, and even more when they’re fast.

Tone down hyper ring and her little float thing and she’ll be start dying more.

Opinion invalidated. Grow up.

Come to think of it, the hitboxes were increased a while ago, Juno was released thereafter without those changes in mind perhaps. Another oversight just like tracers falloff?

If you’re a projectile hero with a slow reload and slow RoF, it’s not that crazy for a miss or two to happen and then she’s getting crazy regen.

Yeah I guess but flying heroes have always countered slow rof slow firing projectile heroes lol

Who do you play?

at lower ranks people just don’t have as good aim, which is why phara is a problem so in that sense it’s true that she’s really slippery. But i don’t think that means her survivability needs nerfs, because it’s not a problem in high ranks (except with brig) but her output is

Again I don’t either - I’m just saying we should acknowledge that she’s an inherently tough support to kill no matter the rank, whatever the reason(s) may be (to which there are multiple, and brig is only one partial reason even at the rank she’s relevant)

She’s hard to kill no matter what rank. She’s a problem at every rank.

Depends on the day.

The occasional thread that asks Juno to get true flight makes me go :grimacing:
