I have games on tank where a Genji, Kiriko combo rips my team apart while I hold the rest of the team in check.
My whole team struggling to get the duo in check and we loose.
There is literally nothing you can do as a tank in this moment.
I don’t have the mobility or tools to deal with it, if I move back the enemy team has free range.
Switching to monkey?
Yeah… if you need 5 people to get 2 in check, than that’s a matchmaking issue
I mean most of the 6v6 teams I played with, the tanks didn’t either. And were knee’s deep in attempting to break barriers.

Fine by me, you rarely give insightful commentary anyway
In fairness, tanks can be bad at their jobs. Im kind of arguing 90% of dps players are bad at their new job.
Outside of specific hitscan heroes, DPS are needing to focus on keeping themselves alive, though.
The easiest way to do that? Stand next to the support…
While I understand DPS could do more and be less braindead, I thought it was Supports that now peeled for each other?

I can peel for a teammate as Brig so much better than any DPS

Yes, dps should be peeling the backline, or at least marking the other threats.
Yes, you can peel as a tank, depending on the circumstances. Mostly if you have the mobility or means to.
There is no defnite answer to this it depends entirely on team comp. If you have a high mobilty tank then yes they should be peeling unless you have agreed to full dive. If you have a more of a brawl comp then the tank should focus on the frontline and the dps should be focused on peeling and/or denying space to flankers. At the end of the day it requires communication or at least a general understanding of how/where your teamates will be playing. There is a grain of truth to this post tho as without a 2nd tank the dps have more responsibilty for map control and denying flankers than the tank does. So if dps plays focuses soley on dmg /kills it wont end well.
Sombra is the only flanker in the game after all
Gotta wait until beginning of 2025 to get the promised 2-2-2 test.
