Read the post before you comment. Nerfing how much fire his ultimate gives isn’t actually a nerf to Genji. It was supposed to be a joke but you people don’t read anything past the title.

I don’t think it’s just genji blades, I think the entire POTG system is a disaster. I get a 3k and the POTG goes to my teammate doing 30% to one person and 90% to another person with all my kills in the kill feed as well

The dev team is bad with hit box fixes. Genjis deflect hit box got balanced (it was needed) and now I get shot through deflect pretty frequently.

I love how many Genji players came in here and got upset at thinking that the OP actually wanted to nerf Genji. Reading comprehension is hard, I guess.

He was kind of a d-ck about it but I mean he’s kind of right. I’m not the best genji not even close, but I know I’m not bad. Genjis ult most of the time is a suicide button. Most of the potg blades you see happen after 1 or 2 of your team died and their team won the fight. Dragon blade isn’t bad, it might even be the best dps ult in the game but it is very easily countered. It’s also quite inconsistent. I have a clip where it took 5 slashes to kill a soldier. 2 of the slashes didn’t register and the rest were out healed faster than I could lay down damage (mercy healing + Lucio + biotic field)

I get the potg are boring but at the same time how many of them actually did something other than cleanup?

I don’t see how someone can call Dragon Blade a “suicide button” when ultimates like High Noon and Rocket Barrage exist. They’re on a completely separate plain.

And yeah, I know it’s pretty inconsistent if you’re not a god-tier Genji… Most of my Genji ults result in two kills before I BWEHHH! but that’s because I’m not an avid Genji player. Cleanup is huge in this game though since any kill you don’t finish just gets healed back up and most of the time a good Genji just slashes and immediately swift strikes for an insta-kill.

I never gave a list of “suicide button ults” because pharah and mccree do fit that a lot better.

Telling me to calm down while typing in all caps is… Ironic. I’m not offended at all otherwise it’d show in my responses. I’ve been very respectful and given my personal experiences with Dragon blade. I die a lot more than I get potg blades.
