You’re acting like I am 100% innocent of everything that happens to me in OW.
Defending my stance on a particular topic is not playing the victim. I was defending the OP’s post by saying " It’s 100% your fault you lose every game" and I was also defending against your posts. I took a stance as to why it is not 100% a player’s fault. Did bad things happen to me in games? yes. Were some of them out of my hands or my fault yes and yes.
So in retrospect, I personally don’t consider myself a victim of my own faults I do make many mistakes like everyone else but am I a victim of circumstance? yes I am.
We’re just going in circles here. Sorry, but hopefully one day you’ll understand what I mean when or if it happens to you. I am hoping you’re enjoying OW2 and if you are good and I also hope that the circumstances that plagued me don’t happen to you or anyone else that enjoys the game. Maybe I am cursed. Maybe I just have bad luck. Maybe I do really suck horribly at the game and forgot how to play OW over night. Whatever the case may be, OW2 just isn’t for me and I accepted it and moved on.
The game for me is not fun, not balanced, and MM is broken in its totality. You be rest assured I uninstalled 2 weeks ago and haven’t come back and don’t plan on coming back.
I have the hope that one day the game will change for the better because I still love OW and want it to change for the better and check up on it from time to time.
Isn’t this what you were preaching earlier? possibly hope for and attempt to change circumstances to something better? Or does that not apply to this or any situation?
Nope, you’re right to do so. I just found it funny how you quit the game 2 weeks ago and you’re still on the forums complaining about something that you’re misguided on.
Is the junkrat who refuses to swap vs pharah. The dva charging Christmas tree Zar…. Total passive agressive post to just say skill issue and get good because the problem is always (you) and never ever anything else, EVER.
LOL if you honestly believe that people shouldn’t flex in ranked mode then i will assume your TOP 500 Icon is from some random arcade gamemode only 15 people actually played
Sometimes you get a bad team and it loses you matches. But at the end of the day the only gameplay you can work on improving is your own. If your only coping mechanism to not tilt is bashing your teams in chat then you should find better ways to deal with being frustrated lol.
This just generally because I’m seeing a lot of angry gamers on both sides of teams lately.
Radical responsibility is cool and all that, “cool dude that doesnt look at explosions” vibes yes, but you know what is better? Actually understanding the true reason why you lost that match and watch your own replays, to see if any of your deaths was avoidable.
THAT is what will make you climb. Because you will be enhancing your game sense, awareness and analytical capabilities. Mechanics is something you can train on the day but the other things I mentioned? Nah, mostly only by analyzing your plays.
Personally I blame the pesky enemy team, I feel it would be easier to win if they weren’t in the game, they keep shooting me and I have an allergy to bullets.
Just one could kill me.
So it often results in me losing matches if I get shot alot.
yeah it’s totally my fault that in one of my last game on nepal, our zenyatta had 2000 heals at the end of the THIRD ROUND, yes, the THIRD round, 2000 heals…
AND our dps where barely doing anything. Even tho i was doing almost more damage than my entire team by myself, as orisa, it was just not possible to win… i dont even know how we even won one round with people going all over the place like headless chickens and zenyatta doing nothing, i guess his harmony orb key broke during the match…
The matchmaking is 100% rigged there’s no denying it, there’s just too many proof. Sure, some losses are on you, but don’t act like the game doesn’t try to forces win/loss…
It’s activision we’re talking about here, they’ve been doing it for YEARS in call of duty (the famous “sbmm” everyone complain about)
Funnily the chance of you being the problem is just 20%, so everything else is just moot at this point. Accept that 80% of the games are not decided by you, that’s all.
And make a note to oneself to not be the reason when you are looking at the reason. Identify the person and try one’s best to avoid doing what they do wrong.
Its one of the most basic way of learning the humans have: Watching other’s mistakes and trying not to repeat them.
Sadly the Replays were added 3 years after the game was released and I am positive 80% or more of the players barely look at them, except to look for someone to blame or confirm their suspicions.
MM is a constant, players are not.
The only difference was a soft reset when OW2 came out.
No, no. It is.
Sure it has thresholds, but they havent reworked the code or anything. Complaints are ridiculous.
Its like raging about how you dont like your Chevrolet, when it has been the same car over the years. Sure you changed the tires, and painted it a bit with reflective paint, and maybe lower the suspension but … yeah its the same car
The matchmaker is not constant Hyphen, it’s been shown before that it was widened to allow for better queue times. I mean I am certain of this, it was widened around two and half years ago when the player pop was dropping and queue times were rising. I’d wager the MMR system is also on QP to keep queue times down set even wider now based on the quality of play going on. It takes 30 games to sort a player give or take, we are well, well past that now. And the matchmaking is just too wide.
IDK where are you getting this from but it is. Dude it has been for YEARS.
You want me to give you a timeline? Easy:
Created in 2016
Modified for RQ late 2018 (for its beta)
Adjusted thresholds for SR gaps to start matches faster on late 2020.
Thats it.
What changes is the MMR/SR of the players and the abundance/availability of suitable players to create/start matches. The system, the code, its literally the same mate.
Again, you can change the tires of a car, paint it, put tinted glasses … its still the same car. Those are the facts
MMR ratings/thresholds are NOT the MM system. Learn the difference please.
