Industry standard, but Overwatch unfortunately doesn’t fit in with those other games. What works for Apex and Valorant might not work for Overwatch. One key point is - you can always swap characters in Overwatch. Further, Valorant’s agents (or whatever) are different, yes, but the biggest part of that game is in the gunplay, which is equal across all players and you cannot switch characters.
This is a gamble for Blizzard. Taking something that works from a game that plays very differently I believe will be a huge issue.
