You don’t have to touch her. It doesn’t really matter what tank you’re playing aside from Zarya and she’s going to be really tedious to play against. I’ve been literally denied hardcarrying a game with Hog with 4 gold simply because the opponents picked Mei and forcefully walked and pocketed her near me so she could just freeze me while their Ana antinaded me. Teamwork wins
it is a bad bad plan but i think hardcounters shouldnt exist, not after the seagull video

The devs did say that they want to get rid of hard counters AND excessive cc, and Mei vs Hammond is kinda the epitome of both.

I at no point claimed to even be that good. I’m a high plat/low Diamond tank player who mains WB.
It so happens I 2-tricked Mei and Ana for several seasons before being a tank main so I know pretty damn well exactly how Mei plays and how to safely engage her.
I don’t care if people make suggestions for changes when they are well thought out and are willing to debate the merit and reasoning for their suggestion. You have not done so.

Am I the only one who doesn’t find it weird that one of the strongest counter to a hero with unlimited mobility with knockback is a hero with slow on her primary fire?
I get it’s annoying, but being countered is most of times not fun, is it? It is something I consider needed for some heroes, and Hammond is one of the characters who needs it to keep him check.

Nah, what we need are players learning when to swap heroes when needed.
They are not only ruin the game for themselves, but they are also letting their teammates down.

That’s what he and I have been telling you. You can escape her. Grapple pulls you outside her beams range.
Passing through her does kill your momentum but you aren’t frozen. If she doesn’t get that second tick on you for whatever reason you can easily roll out of her 10M range.

If you’re goal is to mess with Mei, then you should give heroes such as Zarya, Orisa and Hanzo a try.
Zarya cleanse her slow and freeze, Orisa can displace Mei from frozen enemies and make her self immune to CC and Hanzo is Hanzo. Junkrat, Pharah and Doomfist can be annoying as well, but I think the first 3 heroes can mess more with Mei.

Get Zarya up to a high charge and Mei is melted hard.

This is false. Yes you can’t get away just by rolling but if you grapple the second you’re able to move again you’re away. Done it countless times.
