tracer+widow can counter them. Also why would you be in the line of site on bastion? use the terrain to your advantage.

Zarya and Dv.A then Also tanks aren’t really meant to counter. thats more of the DPS job. DPS is meant to be the one killing and dealing damage. not the tanks so whats the point of the tanks countering when they will hardly be doing damage?
it’s not hard to get gold damage as any of the tanks except winston. the off tanks should be competing for gold damage…

No the tanks shouldnt be competing for gold damage i think i see your problem here its not the fact dps counter tank its your too aggressive.

not really they are dive they go in do alil damage pick off lone people and come back to team.
junk isn’t countered by orisa or monkey (although zarya benefits from him she can’t deal with him properly) , Hog no longer work against reaper because hook combo no longer works and reaper can bait the hook , Zarya in no way counters brig she just mitigates the bash+whip combo although d.VA does counter pharah although there is no reliable main tank role counter.
THIS is the problem, the relegation of tanks to protecting the DPS, Tank can and will carry games if the enemy team doesn’t counter them. i’ve done this myself , the problem is that when we are countered our best choice is to mitigate it, there is no counterpicks.

No just no Off tanks Take Space and Give your main tanks space to push into and your main tank protects while they do this you are wrong. DPS’s role is to punish positioning of enemy players and break shields. Unless they are a flanker like tracer who’s job is to control flanks.
Orisa does counter junk. Her shield outpaces him
Hog does counter reaper. You can hook combo him every time. He is the hardest hook combo to land tho. But you can do it. Even still hog can one shot him even if you don’t have hook.
Zarya gets huge charge against brig and can melt her
Orisa can do okay against pharah so can monkey
This is a FPS, DPS should be the primary focus, if you want to play tank or healer go play WoW!!!
Exactly.hog can easily get gold damage but the other team will just go mei reaper Ana. You can go dva zarya then but it’s still countered just less so.
this is wrong , overwatch is closer to LOL than CSGO or COD, Tanks and Healers are all important roles in overwatch. it is a Hero Shooter.
Do you see the problem? you can’t counter these people that’s a problem especially in solo queue.
