* They add modes that peopleDIDN’Task forlike Workshop.
* They listen to the community for balance discussions and they act upon it 60~70% time.
No they don’t they listen to pros, but thank god, I don’t want them listening to the forums for this.
* They improve the game by adding free content (although it’s kind of a gambling system), but the game doesn’t lack content any time soon.
Apex also does this. In fact Apex didn’t require a cent from the users. Blizz charged a premium for their game the free updates were advertised back then so they are bound to it.
* They add things on PTR all the time and ask for feedback which is also controlled by the community.
feedback implies things are re-evaluated and changed based on user input. The PTR is more of a QA environment to make sure everything is working, nothing is ever changed based on user feedback, it just goes live.
I mean you just ran out here to say “look at how much our game is better than apex” and it’s silly.
Here’s what the devs said, which again the language may be stronger, but is no different than what Mr. Kaplan did.
Your points are rather biased no doubt, but of course who isn’t?
I have my own title for things and so do you, so I’m not going to argue how much we need to be thankful for what we get.
You think it’s not enuff, I say otherwise.
But you state that:
No, I’m not here to promote and blow my own butt just to feel superior to another game.
My point is the overall attitude the devs take compared to the ones across are much more mature which is something we shouldn’t take granted.
To a certain degree.
You clearly think that they don’t communicate enough so that means you do have SOME disdain/complaint towards them.
Since this topic is comparing the development teams for Apex Legends vs Overwatch, it’s pretty off-topic for the Overwatch forum. As such, we’re closing it down.
