My opinions come straight from 8 years of playing this game and being smack dab in the middle rank of gold3.
Changes are the best when opinions and data from high, low and mid ranks is concidered equally.
This shooting to ground a flyer doesn’t really affect much in low ranks where people barely stay in the air as it is.
For mid ranks it might have the biggest effect, as people aren’t as good at shooting fliers down. Something like this could help a lot.
In high ranks people use mainly hitscans to get the fliers anyway, so not much change there either.
Just have to be a tad more careful of projectiles.
