Remove hero roles. Remove role lock. Remove queuing.
Instead of defined hero roles (Tanks, support and DPS), All heroes can now freely be picked.
All heroes now have selectable loadouts. These loadouts would be custom to each hero but would fundamentally affect there gameplay. There will be 3 different loadouts a hero can select from however, some heroes would have less.
The 3 loadouts would be focused on following: Defense, Offense or Support.
Only 2 players can select the same loadout from each category and the buffs the loadout provides would be dependent on the hero selected.
Defense - The hero gains X additional armor (Min 100, Max 200). One ability/primary is replaced/enhanced to have a damage mitigation ability. The hero gains an overshield that absorbed 1 instance of damage (including CC). The shield recharges after not taking damage for 5 seconds or upon reaching max HP.
Offense - The hero gains 3m/s movement speed. They gain wallhacks against enemies below 50% HP. One ability/primary is enhanced to apply a bleed DOT which deals X% additional damage to the target based on the damage dealt from the ability over 3 seconds. The damage dealt by the DOT cannot be healed until the duration is over.
Support: Gain X amount shield HP (Min 25, Max 125). Upon shield HP breaking, all enemies within the vicinity are knocked back and the hero gains 5m/s movement speed for 3 seconds. One ability/primary is enhanced to provide healing.
Heroes within 5 metres of a support have there healing passive buffed (Including the support player). The healing passive activates faster, reducing the activation time from 5 seconds to 2.5 seconds of not taking damage and the healing amount is increased from 10 heal per second + 5% of max HP to 15 heal per second +7% max HP.

Tank/Larger hitbox heroes HP is decreased across the board, decreasing to Min 300, Max 400, however they will get higher hp buffs from loadouts
