Play in Stadium where Moria orbs don’t apply DPS passive, but do apply Anti Heal once they buy the item.

Oh yeah I hate that, that’s why I used Moira as an example, because she technically CAN do that in Stadium.

With Vendetta’s release, it seemed like they wanted to pre-empt a possible counter to Ashe once she dived in. There’s also a possibility that Ashe players were dying in higher than they wanted numbers.

Finally, Ashe’s falloff begins at 30 meters, she didn’t reach maximum falloff until she was 40+ meters out. Now it begins at 35; which just means she can take more high ground angles.

Damage-role players still can’t kill a 1v2 healer+DPS combo.

Healer still shouldn’t have a problem outhealing a 20 damage burn effect on a tank.

Because she can be entirely safe with it now. She doesn’t need to peek to get the explosion in the air.

TL;DR: Hard disagree, at least until the game is rebalanced from the ground up

Every problem today is a direct result of improper balancing around the transition from 6v6 to 5v5. Healers were never adjusted accordingly and at the release of Illari heal numbers hit such an insane level they were reduced, and it still wasn’t enough, so then S9 happened and the DPS passive was introduced, and now it’s just fine.

It’s not overbearing, but it isn’t completely insignificant, as a tank player, I dont think there were any times where I ever thought: “Oh man this DPS passive on Ashe’s burn is really ruining my day!”

What a weird gripe to have, who on earth would struggle to heal through the 20 DMG with the passive? Lucio or Zen maybe? Nearly every healer is so healbotty these days, I’m struggling to think of examples where one would have trouble in this regard

With all the healing output/numbers in this game, you can’t complain a bit about it. That’s a purpose of healing reduction, and it just does its job.

You’d rather play Ashe and see how your huge dynamites (which is her main ult-charging ability btw) got suzud on a cooldown and make a post about that awesome Japanese character that literally converts your ult charge into her’s

The DPS passive in general is bad game design and shouldn’t exist.

By all means, give the Damage role an impactful passive. Just get rid of the garbage antiheal passive.

If healing is too strong, nerf the overperforming healers.

Passive should only be applied for whatever the DoT lasts +1 sec, otherwise its a weird interaction.

you misspelled supports. supports are and have always been the most pampered role, and in 5v5 the most powerful. im a flex player. but supports complain first, and are often the worst players on the team. they have no urgency, they are more concerned with their healthbar tthan winning the objective and supporting their tank.

honestly. it’s just annoying

not a bad point. but it’s really making an ant out of a molehill.. that will almost never be an issue. there are other more egregious things in the game

It’s wild to me they didn’t do this. Instead they made everyone suffer, but suddenly they were suffering too much so they had to boost healing to a point where the passive almost became moot.

Just nerf ana, bap and kiri and be done with the passive. Moira too IF they gave her utility to make up for it

I do agreethat Damage DoTs should be less impactful.

Look at freya, once that happens and a person gets hit, the excessive residual damage takes effect and its GG.

Same with JunkerQueen axe. That is insanity.

Same with Mauga.

It’s 20 dps or something, plus 15% anti-heal, and only because I’m a Tank, it’s worse on the other roles.

And it delays me, the TANK, from getting back into the fight sooner.

Just wait until Anran gets added and she can apply constant fire and anti-heal to everyone she looks at.

It was also a big middle finger to tanks lol.

Trying to kill anything without dps passive applied to it is a literal chore. Health has gone up AND healing has increased across the board, and the only counterplay to that is locked behind the DPS role.

So unless you are basically hitting everything with perfect accuracy you just won’t be able to kill them and the way to kill things as tanks turns into simply trying to out stat them with your giga HP and less about actually being better.

15% reduction on healing from a Tank means that the lowest healing you can receive as a Tank from Zenyatta would be 30 healing per second. For Lucio, 17 healing per second.

And with a Tank who can self-heal, the entire effect is negated and you’ll recover any health lost from the effect.

She could always do this.

Her Pixel Spray achievement still requires shooting and killing with dynamite from at least 30 meters away.
