Was gold 5, got ranking, it showed me as silver 5 and “up ranked” me to Silver 1. PLEASE FIX ffs, this is the most frustrating thing, closely followed by your progress blocking MMR system. Don’t just fix it, but put the affected players back at their season high rank and adjust their MMR ffs, I spent so long grinding for plat with your terrible matchmaking system just to lose 5 ranks in one go, TWICE! NOT rewarding, NOT fun. NOT buying skins until it’s fixewd.

This same issue also happened to me yesterday. I am Plat 3 Tank in OW2. I haven’t had a single series in Season 3 where I went negative on Wins/Losses. I won 5 lost 3, and on that update it said I moved from Gold 3 to Gold 1 when I was Plat 3 and never demoted. Incredibly frustrating. I have screenshots of my rank on OP.GG before and after the bug.

You are not alone in experiencing this bug. Assuming your win-loss ratio is positive, you might be experiencing the bug in which during a rerank, your initial rank is demoted five subdivisions before the adjustment takes place. If you can, could you record your bugged rank adjustment, making sure that at some point in the video it shows your pre-adjustment rank, either from the queue menu or the career profile, and link that video to the thread?
