The community ruins the game

Why defend poor behavior that nobody likes dealing with?

Because these people are straight up miserable in life and the last thing they need to be doing is interacting with people. Internet has made these social rejects very bold online.

It’s… it’s a D.va main account…

Basically: fragile community.

I’ve had a more positive online experience from the FromSoft community than here and those are the kind of videogames designed by the developers for griefing.

You should try Warzone xD

5v5, the wave of free2play players and removal of 2CP killed any structure the community built up over the years. It’s just a boring deathmatch game now.

Second worst to me because I play league

League players never cease to amaze me with the ways they come up with to be sexist, racist, and to tell people to self harm without getting banned… Instead of just not doing those things

The “diff” people came back. This saying was almost gone and now (after the season trailer?) it’s in every game again. The match quality also dropped noticeably.

It seems we have a change in “population” again.

Greed ruins everything. Greed for money that F2P can offer. And F2P causes what you described.
Good luck with your life!

Those games are why I keep playing, and why I VC comm every once in a while when I’ve got the energy. That version of Overwatch is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had, and if I keep queuing I’m guaranteed to find another like it eventually.

Yeah, thats so true. By curbing toxic players, the Devs have also curbed positive communication during-game/post-game and interaction, which are rare but do happen. That damn Catch-22…

I feel that Oranges. Its why I keep playing too, those rare games are so heart-warming that its a feeling I dont get in any other game Ive played.

Because they’re part of the problem.

And the dev team’s PR goes just as hard on it lol.

You should see what it’s like in DBD; exactly the same. Devs and players alike.

To be fair that community only has one toxic aspect to them. And that’s the part where they say you haven’t played the game right unless you’ve ignored 80% of the mechanics and removed all armor and just used a sword. Outside of the git gud ones it’s a great group of people all and all.

I haven’t experienced this at all this season. It’s happened very rarely in prior seasons though. The community is a lot better than other games.

I play on console and people will fake it for Blizzard but insult you in Xbox chat. Its the most toxic group by far on all sides.

A: I got banned with no reason given. My chat was off

B: I never got banned so you probably were being toxic. Enjoy your ban ha. Im so glad Blizzard is ruining people’s fun. Im totally normal.

I’m on PC. I’ve haven’t been insulted at all this season. It’s been a few seasons since I’ve been insulted. I’m seeing a lot less toxic behavior than before.
