Who woulda thought that a healer that takes 0 skill that just has to exist in a back line or front line or flank would make half of the roster unplayable for so so long. Almost all of skill based matchups have been removed from the game instead we now have blatant hard counters
Except Brig wasn’t meta when she came out? It took the Hanzo rework for her to see actual major usages
And… What? Hard counters have existed since Day 1?
Why has it always been seen as okay for Winston to counter Symmetra so hard that she can’t play the game, but it’s not okay for Genji/ Tracer to have an actual counter that WORKS?
Reaper into Pharah is another prime example. Why is that okay?
Heck, what about Genji into Zen? Genji has ALWAYS had the advantage over Zen, why is that fair?
The game is in shambles BECAUSE rather than nerfing the problem heroes during dive, everyone was buffed to compete against it; then the power creep continued to grow and grow and grow until we have the mess we have now

What has changed about tracer and genji today? Nothing, players improved, so instead of improving the forum dwellers have done what they are doing right now, crying and making up excuses why nerfing brig is unacceptable.

If I’m not mistaken then genji just got buffs to deflect and primary fire and tracer quite recently got range buffs

I have a lot of fun on Overwatch to this day (played since season 1) and a big part of that fun for me is Baguette.
She most certainly did not kill Overwatch for me and apparently neither for the 11 other people in each of my games.
Genji has been the top 3 most used DPS in the game for MONTHS
Even when Moira was the most used support in the game, Genji was still Top 3 used DPS
Tracer still sees plenty of play and success in GM/ OWL. I mean Tracer is literally the most used DPS in OWL as of last week
Even WITH Brigitte being meta in both GM/ OWL, Tracer and Genji are STILL seeing play and doing better than most other DPS
But yes, totally removed

No, not nerfing Tracer and Genji during DIVE was the downfall. If those two heros were nerf then Brig and Moria would’ve been completely different heros.
Blizzard should have nerf Tracer and Genji but the can’t touch the poster child of the game. Before Brig (Moria too) supports were seen as free kills, flash forward to June 2020👀. Funny how the cycle repeats
