I started out playing fps quite recently. I was more into character actions my whole life. But managed to get placed gold and climb to plat in about 3 seasons before i stopped playing to climb.
Conversely I have almost 700 hours in csgo and im only nova 1. Recently too.
This game is super easy. Hitboxes are all huge, theres no bullet spray, or recoil. The maps are all wide open with multiple flank routes to encourage avoiding the fight til you get close and cant miss. The abilities often have auto aim, or AOE or just big hitboxes.
