That one Orisa that won't die

When someone describes hack as a form of outplaying, all my organs cringe.

I’ve used the term tryhard, but only when people kill friendlies in a skirmish. I’m kind of doubtful that Muselk came up with it though.

Dude that’s not try harding that’s just how you play Orisa. -_-

too bad a lot of peole still thinks she has to be played as a passive stationarry gunpoint that dosen’t require any movement, and then procceed to ether blame her as a worse tank with low mobility who can’t get the job done as well as rein, or simply call her undying spammer when they get to know her good side.
“sigh” some people just don’t want to see wider than their comfort zone.

Not sure if he did or not just noticed the term came about when I first started playing TF2. That and Muselk used to have a series on his channel called Tryhard Tuesdays. Which I think popularized the term and brought it into OW after he stopped playing TF2. He already had like 300-400k subscribers by the time OW came out. Then he rode the OW hype wave then abandoned it for fortnite.

No idea what he plays now I unsubbed a while ago. His uploads were becoming more and more erratic cause he is always going to events. His personality changed for the worse and the 24/7 fortnite grew old.

Lol, Reapers are my favorite snack. oh look at this Reaper casually trying to walk up to me because he thinks I’m easy pickings. Oh, no! He’s wraith forming to close the distance! It’s a damn shame I can’t side step my shield, oh Wait! I can! Point blanking a small clip in Reapers giant head is easy as pie.

My favorite is seeing a Reaper trying to get an epic blossom only to get halted off his perch and watch him panic.

I run into this kind of Orisa more often than not! The only way I’ve successfully taken these types down is to constantly attack from above her shield. Using Junk, I am constantly trying to stay in the air while nading her. It works really well, BUT there are times where her fortify takes me out :frowning:

True, but you did forget shaking (adrenalin) =)
Also a reason I often play just 1 QP with breaks in between.

I love this comment  Finally some recognition :sunglasses:

Nice post!!

You must have played against me at some point because that is literally how I play. Made a Genji waste his whole ult just on me lol.

I did that with Roadhog on the first point of Volskaya. I managed to hold the first point practically single handedly for 3 or 4 different pushes while the rest of my team died around me, except the mercy who kept her healing on me the entire time. It wasn’t until I made a stupid mistake and chased after this little squishy trying to get away and right into a group on another push that they managed to take me down. That’s when they steamrolled the team and took the point.

As an Orisa main, I do try my hardest to ensure that I can lead my team to victory, and I feel no shame in that. If I charge at you or drag you around with ‘Halt’ for harassing my healers and squishies, that should be a good indicator that you need to back off.

There’s nothing wrong with an Orisa (main or not) doing her job well. :woman_shrugging:

The kind of guy who hates it when tank/support fight back. Go play other PVP FPS games, where everyone fights a fair fight. Probably you’ll get destroyed and can only play dps in overwatch so you can sometimes kill someone who has less chance of a fight

Some Reapers may view that as closing the distance, we have another word for that:

SUICIDE

lol… was probably me

oh and thanks for the life hack, op! I had no clue you could use an entire paragraph to spell out “sour grapes”.

so… youre upset because you cant just walk behind her shield and kill her? man shut up

you mean that Orisa that no oneplays? every one knows that orisa is incredibly useful but no many people like to play it.Dont get me wrong, I like to play orisa sometimes, but being an anchor in this kind of game is really boring.

I will make safety corners with my barrier and do the shield dance of salvation to the best of my abilities until I beat my opponent, finally die or manage to survive thanks to the team!

A tank, tanking your damage. Whodathunk.
