Hello, everyone, and welcome to the final day of Countdown Cup qualifiers. Today, we have a tripleheader of matches, along with a 12 vs 13 Qualification match afterward (which some folk refer to as The Toilet Bowl). First though, the qualifier matches. To start, we have the Dallas Fuel taking on the Atlanta Reign. Both teams are 2 out of 3 so far in the Countdown Cup, with the Atlanta Reign having the higher seed for the moment due to map differential tiebreakers. Both teams are looking for a win, as said win will improve their seeding and possibly give them a bye into the quarterfinals, or (more likely) a chance to have all or some control over which Knockout opponent they want to face. This should be a good match, so let’s get this party started!

Heh. I get it. Also, hoping Fuel can do some stuff today. They’re usually on hot streaks until they run into someone like Philly, get 3-0d and then do poorly for a while.
I want Reign to win, but Atlanta needs to lose a few maps while they win matches to get over their early season “no match wins with 1 or more map losses” choking that they seem to get when they lose 1 map to a bigger team.
more watchpoint gibraltar? i was trying to stay up to watch the overwatch league but they really want me to go to sleep, pity its live so i cant skip it
Not to pry, but what is wrong with Watchpoint: Gibraltar?
Also, assuming you are here for tokens, there is nothing that prevents you from leaving the player live (maybe with an auto-refresh extension if you’re using Chrome extensions) while you go and do other things as Gibraltar is being played.
Also, VODs of the matches usually come out within 24 hours, so you could always come back and watch it later (and with no ads), allowing you to skip over Gibraltar maps.
honestly i apologise every single time i post in these topics its another dig at watchpoint which is kinda unfair because while i hate watching the map its unfair to ruin your topics with my complaints
for me its just very high ground heavy which leads to specific comps which i just dont find that fun to watch, never been a massive fan of watching winston and i find the map leads to team comps which are usually more restrictive than most other maps
just my opinion though but its an opinion i dont need to post every post i made in these topics and for that i do apologise and will stop
honestly dont care about tokens its just not really my thing so i could just go to bed and watch it later but i’ll see how i am feeling(currently 5:16 am)

You don’t have to apologize for your posts. I mean, back when Wyoming was running these threads, I always posted when a team committed a Charlie Niner “And that’s the first Charlie Niner of the match. and that’s the first snowman’s head to go flying!” I think I had an effect on Wyoming, cos for a couple C9s she posted gifs from movies/TV shows of snowman’s heads falling off.
I guess what I’m saying is, don’t be ashamed of your posting. If I ask you to stop, then yes you should do so, but I so far do not have a problem with your WP:G posts. So, don’t apologize just yet. We’re all one big quirky family in the Overwatch forums (albeit a highly dysfunctional one).

A Win condition has been set for the Fuel. Reign have a terrible w/l record when it comes to matches where they have a map loss. Reign have subs in - they could always sub back out for Erster/Dogman.
