So Mercy’s wings look like they are robotic…do you think they are cyberneticly attached to her back? Did she invent them herself? Is she a real angel and the metal is just Armor? What is it?
It’s a suit, she has a voice like talking about it I think? But yeah it’s called the Valkyrie suit.
Pretty certain Torb designed them for her based on a spray where he’s fitting her for it.
He got her curves just right.
“As Overwatch’s head of medical research, Angela sought to leverage her work for healing in frontline crises. The result was the Valkyrie swift-response suit, which Ziegler herself piloted on many Overwatch missions.”
Torb probably just put it together, Mercy is the one who designed it
Ah, I stand corrected.
In the book I’m pretty sure she talks about designing the suit to prove a point that she could, be it that I’m sure torb is the engineer that actually put it together.
Ya, I certainly get the impression there’s a fun dynamic between those two judging from the Halloween picture of them and the banter where she says she always thought he should get his head examined.
Its one of the dynamics I hope they flesh out in OW2, besides mercy and genji of course.
i think somehow its connected to her body and nerves so she can control them like actual wings, and she can detach them too. thats why what i think tho
The Valkyrie suit is a very complex battle armor but it is not cybernetic directly (like the wings are not permanently attached to her). It does provide a wide variety of abilities. Here is an excerpt from the Valkyrie short story by Michael Chu:
I remember seeing a Fan movie about Mercy and the creation of the Valkyrie suit on youtube. It was really well done
It’s reversed engineered alien tech.
Most likely there is something like that and it has to do with her Halo.
I think it´s very special technology robotic attached thing, that´s fueled by “need healing” spams. If it gets too much, we get valk ult.
“Hhmhm… you should try my meatballs”
For some reason, I imagine Torbjorn said that when he was finished.
I would try Torbs meatballs.
As you should - it’s only polite.
To try his salty meatballs (I assume they are salty).
Pharah has already lost that battle lmao
I’m guessing they’re the made of the same hover material all the vehicle wheels in the game seem to be made of. Zen is probably full of it too.
In a world where repulsor lift technology exists, the look is only for aesthetics.
