Hi,
So I have been playing Tracer a lot recently, and find that she is very fun to play. I am also finding out just how easy it is to die. I do not play comp much with her yet, but am hoping to once I commit some time to her.
My question is how I go about dealing with torb and Brig as they are sometimes used to counter me.
Who should I commit to first? Turret, Brig or the other support? Tanks?
Just trying to field some ideas.
Thanks for reading.

I’m not high enough to give you a definite answer but I’ll at least try and get the thread going.
From my perspective out of the ones listed, Tanks are generally out of the question unless your teams needs a distraction and you essentially don’t have another target due to everyone else in some sort of cover.
Brig I tend to try and avoid while another enemy is nearby due to the stun (if I’m too close) or because it’s a 2v1 which includes a shield.
Torb turret is a high alert target that if I have to engage I try and do it with another teammate (hopefully your other DPS) or I engage when the turret is distracted. If torb’s hammering away, you can probably get the kill on him instead then come back to the turret.
The other support is usually my go-to target (or supports if no brig) but if you have great resource management and your aim is on point, any squishy to medium target that you can 1v1 dual or go in for a quick kill then back out is a good target. For example, if you understand the range of mccree’s flashbang he becomes a viable target.
The other “target” will be what your dive shotcaller is calling on OR which hero your other DPS has done damage on (could even be a clean fire strike hit). Even at max falloff range you can do about 72 damage with a full clip and then blink in for an additional 30 melee. Combine that with a fire strike from rein and that’s a dead 200 HP hero in 2s.
Those would be my recommendations coming from a gold-plat player. Hopefully you’ll get some other responses from much better Tracer players.

neither, focus other healer, confirm that kill, then communicate with team to focus turret, then kill the swede, then kill the stun baby. then its ggez n00b tbag the enemy

Now there is something I did not consider! I usually try to harrass and kill the supports, and make an opening for my tanks to push in or dps to get some damage in while I get the attention of 2-3 of their team. I didn’t think to wait until some of them are damaged by other things for to go in. Now that I think about it I should probably wait to hear the sound of people’s cooldowns while I’m at it. I tend to be a bit impatient.
