Instead of getting help from his own team? Why do people always leave stopping widow to one person anyway? What if Widow’s never the problem and people just have no idea ho to beat her, so when one person fails to 1v4 her, they go “WIDOW OP!”?

Pretty much, again idk why he’s complaining, classic case of coordinated team vs an uncoordinated one, it sucks but what can you do about it aside from gathering a team you can coordinate with
What if you have no idea what you’re talking about because that has nothing to do with anything said in this topic? The problem is exactly that I am alone in a team of 5 trying to kill Widowmaker. This is the problem. It’s the problem. It’s not a skill issue. It’s a “all of my teammates hate diving the Widowmaker apparently I guess” issue.
What I said there has something to do with what I said before. And I wasn’t talking about you specifically or at all; if anything I was on your side by saying its unreasonable to expect you to 1v4 widow and her team literally keeping her alive.
True! And I’d argue that problem happens more often on here than people would like to admit. Though I’m biased by people actually having that issue in the past. They’d say Widow’s OP and then show me footage of literally no one contesting widow.

Yeah, that sounds like a bad JQ tank not playing smart given the team comp and map. Still, that does mean as a dps you have to find a way to counter the sniper. That means you have to try diving them yourself or counter sniping with lots of cover, attack from odd angles etc… All that said, there are some games where you just aren’t going to win sadly as the team just isn’t on the same wave length. Welcome to OW.
The times you do get a team on that same wavelength, same mindset… the game is a lot of fun.

I’m exaggerating a bit but I don’t think they’re cheating.
Why exaggerate it doesn’t help your topic.
I don’t know that it’s the tank’s job to counter Widdow, but if nobody does, I will. It’s fun even if it doesn’t work. I love it when simply losing track of where Moira is will cause her to relocate.

I’ve used Moira many times to push widow off her perch, half the time securing a kill.
It’s no one’s specific responsibility to take out a certain hero. Work together or fail together

That’s what was needed years ago in OW1 and before Ashe’s release but good luck getting that to happen when like Sombra and Sym, they’ve decided on a “character identity” tied to a part of her kit that is impossible to properly balance and will always be hated no matter how “balanced” the character actually is overall.
Also, they mainly go off pick and win-rate and Widow is immune to “annoying” being a reason for reworks unlike Hog(lol), Sym, and Sombra so unless everyone in every rank picks her and wins all their games, ggs.
At least Junkerqueen can toss a knife at her and force her to use grapple without needing to cross Gobi’s Valley just to have a chance to momentarily stare into her beautiful eyes.
I threw my knife at Widowmaker, she dropped down and grappled away. I can’t follow up with that for another 6 seconds.
D.va will take another 4 seconds and Winston will take… another 6 seconds.
Would be great if someone actually followed-up after Widow grapples away from the knife pull.
A properly timed Zen 5ball snipe can take out widow if you discord her first. Of course as soon as you kill her once you become target priority 1
The counterplay to Widow is simple but it requires the tank to 100% be on a dive tank. Sombra doesn’t have the staying power in a backline with her lower HP and a competent team peeling for Widow

they just hold a shield and flame their dps for not killing the enemy team in a milisecond.
you can put your faith in their hands of course. I would not do that.
