Sometimes, sure. Habitually though? Is there no where on the map where they want my shield?
Good tanks know where their DPS want to position and protect that area for them.
A DPS not being behind your shield is most often because you’re not in the right place.
I get rein play of the games all the time. Supports get the least amount of pog.
No, I believe it is based off of other people stats on the same hero, on the same map.
So a Rien on Ilios won’t be compared to Gengu on Hollywood.
You’re kind of proving my point that tanks don’t have a lot of control over the match aside from throwing it.
It can be as easy as having bad healers, now you are no longer effective as a tank.
This system still seems like total bs to me. Are you telling me that someone in my team performed over 54 kills with 11 deaths and 49% accuracy with over 10k+ damage as Mccree in a match? and yet i still lost 27 points in that match cause at the end before i could do my thing my whole team died to a high noon leaving only me and my friend alive.
If you’re better at securing the best areas (compared to the other tank) you will win the game.
It isn’t complicated. Good tank play is a ridiculous advantage.

It’s an advantage sure, but it’s not as good as a numbers advantage. That’s just how it is.
Plus there are the other issues like being more dependent on teammates than the other roles and usually having less outplay potential (although additions like hammond are shaking that up).
I was going to say no but in my personal test of placements with dps/tank/support, i actually got ranked lowest with tank lul
A DPS doesn’t get to kill the enemy without shielding.
This really isn’t hard to understand.
Dps don’t need tanks to get their job done. They can get kills and even make space all by themselves, and you’re still hung up on the “shielding isn’t as important as damage” thing as if that’s the only thing I’ve said.
I feel if you are going to ssay something like that at least have your profile set to public and dont use a smurf to say such things.
