I queue’d as tank yesterday (quick play) for the lootbox, and it gave me a normal lootbox instead of a halloween lootbox. I love halloween skins, but basically have all the normal skins I want. So … I’m not really going to queue as tank unless this is changed.

Yeah I saw this today too. Not sure if it’s intended or what, but disappointing none the less.
Edit: It sounds like it’s intended. Role queue loot boxes will always be the “normal” ones.
Apparently it’s intentional to keep people from farming event loot boxes or something silly like that.

Quite disappointing indeed and can confirm. If the box is daily, it should change with the event.
I kinda like it. It’s a nice way to get more credits to buy stuff
