I was actually optimistic about ow2, but the more i play, the more things are rubbing me the wrong way.
- The dominance of low-effort and high-reward heroes such as Genji, and Winston, which are all currently at the top of the meta.
- Genji has the hitbox of a mosquito, his shuriken have the hitbox of, and hit like a truck.
- The game feels unbalanced, many heroes have not been reworked in consideration of big changes. Reaper no longer counter tanks, Cassidy no longer counters Genji, Doomfist is not even in a playable state.
- Unbalanced matchmaking. Too many new players who don’t understand tanking, objectives, getting matched with plat players, making games feel like a coin flip.
I’m taking a break while Blizzard figures things out, i got a big list of games to try in my Steam Library, because this does feel like a “early release”
